So, with the last game shop within 20 miles of north seattle closed, does anyone have any ideas for where to play?

I have no idea. :(

Zen and Paul are planning to rent a space for a gaming club, but as usual, Paul is taking his own sweet time going about it.

Gamma Ray is tiny and doesn't have any free space on Fridays.

Dreaming Comics & Games, in the U-District, might have space for us on Friday nights. I am waiting to hear back from the store owner.

I think I have been there Koyote. I live not to far from both places you mentioned and if I remember right, I could be wrong, the comics shop does not have much space. I can swing by there over the weekend and check it out if you need a visual. Gamma Ray is mainly a Privateer Press store. I go there often since I can walk there. :)

They guy I spoke to at Dreaming Comics told me that they are working on getting more space. I haven't been there yet, so I don't know the layout.

Also, I live 3 blocks from Gamma Ray. I stopped in there the other day to ask about open gaming space. I was told that the evenings are spoken for but they don't have anything going on during the day on Saturdays.

Yeah they have a very strict calendar during the week day evenings. Saturdays are pretty slow there. (Gamma Ray)

I would be good with some Saturdays, the wife gave me a bit of flack, but I think I could probably make three out of four.

I would prefer a place where three or more games could happen at once.

There appears to be a train and hobby shop on lake city way with a gaming basement. I saw some GW products in their windows, but I've not stopped in yet.

You could check that out.

It's an intriguing game but I have not bought into it yet. I looked into it after seeing it on here in a post. Right now I am building a Cryx army for Warmachine among other things.
