  1. I think it's simple. I've played Necrons since 4th ed, I'll always play them (good or bad). Solutions: Never declutter, nerds forever! Unless you don't have storage space for it (or need cash, but sell when it's hot). If forced to declutter or choosing to, sell those things you have never used, or haven't used in many years. That's how I viewed it. I sold an entire painted Dark Elf army and entire Space Marine army recently. I might sell off my Orks too, but we'll see. However, you do you. 😁
  2. I'll be there to get my Blood Bowl match on 😁
  3. Being transparent, much of the 'old' senate has become more of a player than active senator (but still around). We have a lot of new blood in our senate, and it's great to see such active people running Ordo. I haven't seen so much activity in the Ordo Clubhouse for a long time, lots of events, tournaments, and more. As for old OFCC style, without a HOG (Head of Gaming) to run it the old style, there's a chance it won't return in the same fashion (maybe a hybrid). That hasn't been set in stone, but that's the reason there was a doubles event last year. Simply because no one who volunteered knew how to run it in the old OFCC style. We were very lucky to have any 40k representation, thanks to those who did step up and run it. We're always seeking volunteers 😁
  4. I'd be interested too. Haven't touched 40k in a long while.
  5. I have three (new on sprue), Armiger Warglaives. These were from the Forgebane set. Includes 3 bases, and all sprues like new. Shoot me an offer. Ideally near Portland or the Ordo Clubhouse for a meet up.
  6. This is a pretty good opinion here. 3d printing is FAR from plug and play. I got LOTS of help from people getting my Ender 3 Neo v2 dialed in, now it prints amazing with 2 upgrades. That said, I wouldn't wager on a kickstarter 3d printer. Let others find the pain points. It's like buying a year 1 new car, just don't do it 😁 One additional piece about Filament fumes, PLA fumes aren't toxic. ABS or others can be if you use different filaments. Not as bad as resin, but can have issues too. PLA is your standard filament, in fact I use the PLA+ from eSun. Great stuff.
  7. Sold... Finished inventory (magnetized): 2 Sorceress' Cauldron of Blood + witch elves 2 Hyrdras + beast tamers Reaper Bolt Thrower + operators Cold one chariot + riders 6 Cold one knights 10 Dark riders 20 Black guard 40 spearman 20 Xbowman 10 Harpies Primed or need paint: Dreadlord on Black Dragon (missing in pictures, just primed black) 10 Executioners 10+ Shades Witch Elves (some on sprue and some metal) Lots of sprue, bits, weapons and more. Likely more models from it too. Extras: Many metal movement trays (used with magnetized army), as well as some normal non metal ones Old WHFB mini rulebook Old Dark Elves Codex Old Magic card deck
  8. The answer is simple. Non toxic. Resin, you might as well put your hands in a nuclear reactor if it touches your skin. You can't dispose of it via the garbage (which we know millions of gallons of the stuff is not disposed of properly by nerds worldwide), and much worse. It's a huge hassle. As for resolution, sure miniatures are better in resin. But most things don't need miniature quality. Like terrain, tokens, and more. Faster, cheaper, safer.
  9. I purchased three boxes of Infinity hoping to get started, and never did. This was meant to be an entire army in these three boxes. That said, just looking to sell them as I don't think I'll ever get a chance to play. PanOceania Starter Pack Neoterran Capitaline Army PanOceania Support Pack All three are brand new, never been opened. Get a 'great deal' on new products, thinking like 50% of retail, but make me an offer. I'll even toss in some 'free' printed promo terrain (makes 1 or 2 tables) Army Boxes:
  10. There's always someone who complains, most of it is people you can't please anyway or they wanted a face melting competitive event. 99% of attendees love the event. OFCC isn't for everyone, but those who attend, usually know what to expect. The simple reason for no OFCC this year is administration support (as @Blustorm stated) but also cost. A 2024 event was not addressed early enough or HOG's (Head of Gaming) volunteering to run large enough events. Also, the cost of the venue is usually in the $6k-$10k range, and breaking even on that is a must. We don't see that happening this year without a longer run time up to the event. It's not abandoned, just not this year. The Senate is addressing longer term planning and lots of new faces too. Which is great to see the club healthy again after Covid. There was discussion of a larger 40k event, but nothing firm yet and it would likely be at a smaller/cheaper venue (not in a hotel).
  11. I would 100% play, if I didn't have another competition event that day.
  12. Sounds like I have a blood bowl league match, should be there just before 5pm.
  13. I ordered the Feldherr 2016 Blood bowl one, but would LOVE to see your selection if you don't mind (and which is your favorite). What nights do you usually get your games in? Still not sure which day to show up.
  14. It's there, just had to look for 2024 Spring OBBL. Also, what night do more people play? Finally, looking to get my first game in, and don't see the schedule? Just play anyone?
  15. Question, any blood bowl team case suggestions? They don't sell that 40k kill team zipper case anymore?
  16. Paid up, and ready to go. What night do most players usually go for? Wed/Thurs will work best for me, but just wondering if there's a usual night?
  17. Are players required to be NAF members? Not sure if I am, can't recall. Haven't played a NAF tourny since around 2017. Either way registered. Wed or Thurs Ordo games going to be possible, or work out with opponent only?
  18. I had a t-shirt from a Metallica concert in 1998. Sold it for $300. My buddy resells old estate sale items on eBay. Does pretty well with things I wouldn't even waste my time on. It's the size of the audience, and eBay has that. It's also the collector aspect, and some people just have more money to waste. That or financially irresponsible. The true eBay measure is to filter 'sold items' (not just completed). The actual sales prices will tell you what similar items sold for. Some are just overpriced in hopes of getting a steal.
  19. Dunno, haven't priced it (just lazy and it's sitting there). That said it's Dark elves, about 2500pts painted, and I think another 500pts of various stuff. 2 hydras, 2 bolt throwers, lots of various troops, cauldron of blood, and lots more. One of these days i'll put it up on Rogue trader, just been lazy about posting it. 😁
  20. Our club is only open on specific nights for senators who are able to open/host the game nights. Friday nights are not currently one of our game nights. I believe Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Sundays are normal game nights for us. We just currently don't have someone opening up on Friday's is all. Not to say, someone might not step up and offer. But usually it's more about game night for many, rather than single games. Here shows game nights coming up by day: https://www.ordofanaticus.com/forum/3-game-night/
  21. As Blustorm explained, we have various game nights. Make sure to arrange your game in advance (avoiding showing up and no one to play). Usually table space isn't a problem. You'll find people tend to show up on similar days, meaning showing up on a Sunday you'd meet those who host/run those game nights well enough. As stated, make sure to check the 'game night' thread each time before that day. It'll post about being open, etc. You can even arrange games there too. There's also a Discord server too. Welcome! 😁 I need to get back into 40k again, maybe we'll grab a game sometime.
  22. Sold off the Marines, the Armiger Warglaives are all that's left, updated asking only $90 for all three, new on sprue with bases.
