  1. Have a copy of Uniforms and Heraldry of the Empire for sale in great condition. Looks like these are selling for around $125 on Ebay, asking $75 obo. Pick up in Vancouver or I can ship for $5.
  2. It's 100% because VC have models that cross over into AoS, while Tomb Kings don't. Same reason why Skaven or Lizardmen are Legacy, because they have play in AoS, while stuff like Wood Elves or Empire or TK have little to no crossover into AoS.
  3. I think it's hard to judge without seeing the "Legacy" army lists. Right now, for me I don't see a ton to get upset about because we haven't seen the lists. Other side of the coin, I have all "Legacy" army and I haven't seen anything about the lists, so there's not a ton for me (personal opinion) to be excited for yet. I think most people are worried that Legacy armies without "support" from GW will either enter the game in a really overpowered or underpowered state and won't receive any adjustments to compensate them one way or the other, and that it will rely on the community to police the game. GW has been known for this in the past, but since ToW is being done by the Specialist Games team and they have a really good track record with things like HH and MESBG, I think I would lean slightly towards optimistic on this one. Excited to see what the game is going to bring for us "Legacy" players though!
  4. Minis look awesome, and I don't mind the scale so much... but as someone who already has a bunch of 6mm Necrons I need to get on Epic bases, I'm right here with you. Can't help but feel that, even if they are dead-set on a new scale/rule set, setting it in HH is a big missed opportunity. Telling Xenos players to kick rocks seems like an odd move, haha.
  5. There's a group of us that play Warmaster in the area. No real specific times (I know some of the guys try and play Thursday evenings), but I can normally carve out at least one Saturday a month to play some games. We have a WhatsApp/Discord group, would be happy to add you to either if you would like, just drop me a line! Love the idea of Minihammer! I play "normal" scale 9th Age but have always thought about putting together a force in that scale, will have to look into it more!
  6. Agreed. I have an all GW "Alien Hives" army, but I also really like the idea of using Mantic's Forge Father line for a Dwarf Guilds army, since I personally like them much better than the League of Votan models. And that's not getting into all the options available out there to print.
  7. This might clear some of it up: https://wiki.onepagerules.com/index.php/Category:Grimdark_Future_Miniatures I'm still very eager to try out OPR, just have been having a hard time finding some time to do so.
  8. Apparently the Aeronautica Imperialis minis are compatible with the system... and apparently all the Xenos AI minis have gone "last chance to buy." If this is going to actually being a new "Epic" than anything not Space Marines is probably going to be years and years off... and since I just got an order in of a bunch of cool 6mm Necron minis, I won't be holding my breath much for Legions Imperialis (although it is cool seeing minis in this scale in plastic, even if a lot of the STLs out there look way better, lol).
  9. Totally agree, I see the same thing with Plague Marines. All I mean is that I personally enjoy the simplified list building process of 8th Indexhammer and would like to see it continue. I'm sure not everyone agrees though, which is totally fair.
  10. Interesting to see that points basically = Power Level now, with it going to a more AoS style of list building. Lines up with how it was done when the 8th ed Indicies came out, hopefully it will stay the same when they start dropping codicies.
  11. I'd have to search around to find the exact date, but I believe GW is rolling out the datasheets / indicies first and then the points next week. The 16th I believe?
  12. Space Wolves gain access to potentially all of their benefits vs picking one. What else do I need to explain? Also, rules balance? Why is that being brought up regarding a GW game? Like, when has ANY edition of ANY GW game been balanced?
  13. Marine Chapter rules look great. Fluffy, simple, fun. Not sure about the Space Wolves complaining @Brother Glacius, being able to pick up three pretty substantial buffs by doing what you already want to be doing seems good.
  14. The entire core rules were linked on Blood of Kitten's FB page and is still up I believe.
  15. I know there's some players who do 6th ed at Mindtaker, might be worth checking their Discord out 🙂
  16. Have seen a lot of traction for Grimdark Future locally, curious if anyone has tried out or would be interested in Age of Fantasy? I like the AoS esthetic but not really the game itself, seems like a good alternative 🙂
  17. Got a game in on Saturday at Guardian, 2v2, 1000 points each! My Daemons + Orcs and Goblins vs Wood Elves and Bretonnia! Was a hard-fought battle but the cursed goody two-shoes ended up breaking first the Daemons, then the Orcs and secured the magic tower in the center... THIS TIME! Had a blast though, was great to get a game in after so long. Looking forward to more games to come!
  18. 1500 points of Daemons put together! The weather was even nice enough that I was able to prime them right after snapping this pic. Hoping to get some games in next weekend 😎
  19. Ok cool! No worries if it's a hassle, just thought they looked cool! I like the Ankylo Monoliths but they are a little busy, these ones looks perfect.
  20. Ooo, where are these prints from? I have a bunch of the Ankylo Miniatures Necrons waiting for me to pick up, plus I was able to get ahold of the files if I need more of them.
  21. Oh I agree 100%. I love the Eye of Terror book! But as someone who played Bloody Rose Sisters of Battle in 9th, I was extremely vexed when a "campaign supplement" came out that contained... extra rules for Bloody Rose Sisters of Battle! I wouldn't say I'm optimistic that 10th won't do this (they've been doing it since 7th), but I am hopeful!
  22. Well, GW has said that 10th will be "less killy" than 8th/9th was, though I agree that it will be hard to judge exactly what this means until it's out. I do agree that the onus is on GW though to provide a game that isn't bogged down with supplements and stratagems since (IMO) 8th and 9th started off strong but eventually devolved into big messes. I would describe myself as "guardedly optimistic:" From what has been previewed I'm eager to give it a try, since the changes have (mostly) been positive, but I'm fully prepared to stop at the indices or backtrack to 8th Indexhammer / 5th / 3rd edition the moment a "campaign supplement" drops that means I have to carry around a 3rd book.
  23. I believe they are from Varus Miniatures.
