  1. oh you are right I agree they aren't a bad deal compared to buying gaunt boxes I just felt that the cost +shipping was just more than I wanted to invest in a unit I only wanted to try out and fill in leftover points with. just thought I would exhaust any other options by looking for used or unwanted plastics models first.
  2. do you mean a single base or a minimum unit of 3?, yeah those FW swarms look really nice but might be too pricey for what I'm wanting to use them for.
  3. So apparently rippers are much more difficult to come by in the new kits with the only place to find hem being in the termagant box? and i don't feel like buying 5 boxes ofgaunts to field some throw away fodder. anyways I wanted some to fill out some points and to act as objective grabbers and im hoping someone around here has a bunch they might be willing to sell, based not based, painted or not.
  4. don't worry im takin' care of your boys just got the vehicle and infantry test models almost done
  5. once upon a time i had plans to build a HH army but never got around to it. heres what i have, none of it is painted or primed. 36 MkIV marines unassembled on sprue 10 Cataphract Terminators. 5 assembled, 5 on sprue 5 Tartaros Terminators. 1 assembled 4 on sprue 2 heresy chaplain models 1 assembled 1 on sprue 1 cataphract praetor/captain unassembled apothecary in mk IV armor assembled 28 MkIII marines unassembled on sprue all the bits and bobs to make sergeants, special and heavy weapon option extra devestator bits for multi melts and heavy bolters a bag of bases(not sure how many in total are in here) looking to sell or trade for guard or nids
  6. I have a pretty large fully painted Necron army that i just no longer have time to play with anymore and would like the whole thing gone pretty quick. includes: ctan shard destroyer lord 3 overlords trayzn imotek 2 crypteks 5 lords 5 lychguard 5 deathmarks 20 immortals 24 warriors 3 destroyers 6 tomb blades 6 wraiths 3 tomb spyders 2 doomscyth/nightscythe 1 triarch stalker 1 monolith 1 ghost ark 1doomsday ark 2 annihilation barges 10 scarabs all in total its a little over $1000 retail but I would sell the whole lot for $600 obo images: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B22_cyfDde4teW8yYTBVMlVSUDA
  7. I have several armies for 40k but haven't really played in a while so I feel like I'm out of the loop. I also play Infinity and some Bolt Action. If you are interested in playing Armada sometime let me know, even if you have no interest in buying or collecting it yourself I've got more than enough to play multiple lists for both sides.
  8. Well, if there's a bright center to Portland, Im in the suburb that it's farthest from. Just picked up Star Wars Armada, and I'm super excited to start playing but because of life schedule its difficult for me to game on weekends on a regular basis and because of how much of a pain I-5 traffic has become during weeknights almost impossible to make it to one of the downtown or east side game stores in any reasonable amount of time after work. surely I can't be the only person wanting to play this game located in the Outer Rim?
  9. I think the white and blue on the monk works well. what are you planning on doing for bases?
  10. the urban camo is pretty simple, I've used citadel paints on this model. For the mechanical parts I've used Eshin grey with a back wash then highlighted. the armor base is dawnstone grey with he next step up in camo being administratum grey. the lightest grey is a 50/50 mix of administratum and white. typically an urban camo will have a black pattern in there as well but I felt it would detract too much from the silhouette of the model particularly with he black panel lines on the armor.
  11. I got both forms of my Su Jian Assembled and painted this weekend. I was surprised at how easy this model went together despite the number of really tiny fiddly parts.
