Most missing bits are hard to notice, and are easy to replace with bits of plastic. It's a great excuse to convert or kitbash them 🙂 Skitarii Squads - Rangers and Vanguard: built and primed, some new on sprue Purchase a couple of these squads to mix and customize weapon options before each battle. It feels solid and sturdy. * Titan: Imperial Knight Crusader: $135 (retail: $170 NIB) built, painted, based This set comes with both pilot minis new on sprue, all other weapon options and bits new on sprue, a decal sheet, and instructions. The model's weapon arms swivel horizontally at the elbows, and the top mounted missle rack is removable. So you can convert your Titan's weapon load out. It appears that the previous owner painted this model using a thin layer of paint washes, which left a lot of the original model detail in good condition. So if you'd like to paint over this model (without stripping the paint off first), you can do so without having to worry about losing a lot of surface detail. This model is ready to play out of the box... and you can also paint over it if you prefer a different look to match your army's style 🙂 * Adeptus Mechanicus Codex & Data Cards: $15 (sold together) (8th Edition) like new This codex and datacards are like new! There's a slight ding in the lower right front corner of the book cover, but the cover is not torn, scuffed, or scratched (as shown in the item photo). Even if you don't play WH40k 8th Edition, you can still enjoy the codex for the lore, cool art, and lots of photos of pro-painted minis 🙂 ____________________________________________ PAINTING TOOL * Citadel Colour Spray Stick: $18 (retail: $23) new in box PRIMER * Army Painter Spray Primer new, unopened, unused * Grey: $15 (retail: $17) * Black: $12 (retail: $13.50) PAINT new, unopened * Vallejo Game Color: $3.00 each (retail: $3.50) Heavy Blue (72.143) Ultramarine (72.022) Turquoise (72.024) Jade Green (72.026) Heavy Ochre (72.150) * Army Painter Warpaints: $3.00 (retail: $3.50) Matt White * Citadel Paints: $4.00 each (except where noted) (retail: $4.55) Flash Gitz Yellow Mournfang Brown Macragge Blue Fenrisian Grey : (Space Wolves layer color) Russ Grey : (Space Wolves layer color) The Fang : (Space Wolves base color) Agrax Earthshade: $7.00 (retail: $7.80) >> Bulk Paint Discount: Receive a 10% discount on the price of paints, if you buy all of the paints! ____________________________________________
  2. Im happy to announce the first of many regularly occurring RTTs in the Portland Metro Area! For these first few events we will be keeping things simple with plans on expanding greatly in 2020! Hope to see you there! Details and registration in the link below: https://www.bestcoastpairings.com/eventlanding/ykd47tcv?embed=false
  3. No gloss seal or base yet, but that's my test model for a "blood warrior" That's my stove in the background. Kinda a cool background...
  4. Surprised they haven't posted yet. https://calendar.google.com/calendar/event?eid=NWF2MTIwNTY0bXFzNzZqZGlycHNqOGgwYWpfMjAxODAyMDdUMDIwMDAwWiBhZG1pbkBndWFyZGlhbmdhbWVzcG9ydGxhbmQuY29t&ctz=America/Los_Angeles Link is to the GG calendar entry. Host listed is a GG employee. Guardian Games now has a Tuesday "time slot" and tables set aside for Age of Sigmar. 6pm-10pm. It's not in the Bar area. Saw it two weeks ago, no one showed, but they also didn't really advertise. Tuesday means that it takes place during the WOW 40k game night, which could be good, since it means overflow from WOW can go to GG. Anyway, I might be showing up there, but also may go to WOW for 40k. Bad time for me, as it tests my alliegence with the two games. Still, worth mentioning for others.
  5. Time: 3 PM to ???? (we sometimes close later) Location: 717 SE Main St. Portland OR 97214 (map) - Around the corner from Kokiyo Teriyaki and up the stairs Cost: $5 for Ordo Members, $2 for Ordo Warlord Champions, FREE for Emperors! And as always, your first Game Night is FREE! Games we play: 40k, Blood Bowl, Board Games and more All are welcome. We also have tables open for Blood Bowl, Necromunda, AoS, 40k, or whatever game you want to play. Although it is possible to find a pickup game at Game Night, it is much better to prearrange a game before coming down. Hope to see you there.
  6. AoS Maw Krusha for sale or trade. Looking for Malifaux stuff, mostly 10 Thunders https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1T5gWPgHMaHu6ibsmnpw5YVHeBU3dnQ12
  7. I've been working on a spacewolf great company for a bit and I'd like to start throwing some axes on them. Im looking for plastics where available. Anything from hand axes up to something a dread could pack around. I have cash primarily, with nids/crons/and RW bikes (everything used) as secondary trade fodder. Thanks for looking. :)

  9. Trying to makes heads of tails of this one. If a model has the option to have a KEYWORD when they are set up on the battlefield, do they count as having that same KEYWORD for army alliegence ally purposes? For example, If my army has the Khorne Alliegence, and I take a Slaves of Darkness Chaos Warriors unit. They can, as they are set up, be giving the Khorne keyword. Prior to use setting up, they don't have the Khorne keyword. Do they count as part of the points for the Khorne alliegence army, or are they considered an allied unit?
  10. I have some 40K and AOS stuff I am looking to trade for Malifaux models. My preference is for Gremlins/Archanist stuff but I am open to other factions. I am perfectly willing to provide pictures for anyone interested. AOS Painted: Megaboss on Maw-krusha Assembled but not Painted: Start Collecting! Ironjawz set Commission Painted: Neferata w/Primed but unpainted mount. Stormcast Eternals Sigmar's Vengeance set Celestant Prime 1 Knight Azyros: on sprue Unit of Tempestors: on sprue Unit of Decimators: on sprue Unit of Liberators: assembled Assembled Liberators with Crossbows 40K Commission: Salamander Librarian Assembled Demi-Company: A couple models are painted in thr Salamander colors but most are not painted. Assembled: Start Collecting! Space Wolves set with 3 extra Thunder Wolf Cavalry: A few of the Thunder Wolves are painted but most things are not.
  11. Haven't really played AoS since before the General's handbook, and didn't really like it then (very half finished, but I did like bits of it). Found myself watching a guy and his daughter play yesterday at GG, and I splurged on some AoS Grand Alliance Death models (Getting started box and the book for that alliance). They didn't have any copies of the general's handbook in stock, so first question relates to points and the army composition rules now being used. What is the common point level and how are armies made now? And is there a way to find the points without the general's handbook?. And did they ever find a way to balance the summoning rules? Projected army would be skeleton themed. I did download the Legacy PDFs for tomb kings and vampire counts, in addition to buying a physical copy of Grand Alliance Death. Not needing advice on model selection. but I would like to know if the GW stance on letting models on square bases remain square is still allowed? I suppose it doesn't matter that much.
  12. Decided recently i wanted to give AoS a try since the end of end times a while back. Picked my army based on a paint scheme i've been dying to try since i saw the models when i first started. I present my sylvaneth cherry blossom army. Right now i have the models i need for GW's skirmish campaign painted. I still have 26 dryads, 2 hunters, and 2 tree lords to build and paint. I really love how easy the game is and the only gripe i have is the flat to wound rolls of certain weapons.
  13. So I've had some success in the past trading stuff I wanted for recording time in my studio. I would consider it a small scale modest professional studio. Not a bedroom studio, but not the full scale hollywood studio. However, the examples of material I have from my studio DO reflect that level of quality (I even have reviews and compliments from real world famous producers if that matters). I know there probably aren't a lot of people who would want to utilize this trade offer, but, I'm low on cash, flush on time, and I want to flesh out my miniature arsenal. So, I figured I would throw this out there. The only thing I can't do is recording (and KEEP) an entire band performance at the same time. I can do scratch tracks all at once, but then we would overdub the takes afterwards for better control/isolation (as I said, small scale). I record a lot of hard rock, metal, and hip hop (actually hip hop is my bread and butter primarily). I've done a few cool nerdcore artists locally, and even gospel. What I am looking for are newer fantasy models. I'm just very nitpicky and the older models tend to have mold lines that are just awful (especially the metal ones). Highest value will go to miniatures still on sprues but I won't try and rip anyone off or low ball. I'll be generous. So, any takers? Also, if this somehow violates the TOS let me know, and I apologize in advance.
  14. Not sure how big I'll let this army get, what with that large tyranid project and my Imperium which I'm also working on, but I acquired a used copy of the Khorne Daemonkin Codex and that's inspired me to start another actual army. So for starters, I'm not a fan of Chaos armies that follow the STCs. So I'll be converting and doing lots of counts as for this army. And for those that know me, I've got a bias against plastic models, so I'll be light on plastics for this army too, though some things are unavoidable. I will also be mixing Hordes Skorne models in with these, as I intend to keep the same paint scheme across both armies (I have a small Skorne army), so some of the models will be intended to be useable for both games. And if that wasn't enough restrictions, I also plan to at least keep in mind using some of these models as AOS Khorne Bloodbound, even though I don't really play that game (now). Okay, that stuff aside, I was looking at various OOP metal models, trying to decide how best to represent a Skull Cannon or Blood Throne model, and then it hit me: I'm going to make a Warhammer Siege army. I've got some of the old Warhammer Seige models already, plus I did pick up the Dreadhold models when they released. Always wanted to play (or see played) Warhammer Siege, but that's not really going to happen - what I can do, is make an army thematically warhammer seige, but within the Khorne Daemonkin Codex. Plus, it would be very fun to show up in the 41st millenium with wooden/brass 16th century siege equipment and inform my opponent that these are daemons of khorne, coming from the timeless warp, and our building materials are durable enough to threaten the ranks of the technologically superior armies of 40k...(with orks being included as technologically superior to the Khorne Daemons)
  15. I believe this is where we upload finished products. If I'm wrong, direct me there. But, finished this guy up recently. Technically I sort of mixed the miniature pieces up a bit. But, I liked the Puke and so did my GM but I like the teeth of the maggoth lord (the puke is from the other dude, I forget his name). I'll post some of my other mini pics here later. And all other local painters should feel welcome. My whole reason for being here is to find a painting buddy or two.
  16. This will be a 2000 point, 2 round AoS tournament using the pitched battle rules from the GHB. The event costs 5 dollars and is payable the day of the event at the store. There is no paint requirement. There will be prizes for placement and best painted army. Missions: Take and Hold Border War Official event sign up's here: https://www.bestcoastpairings.com/eventlanding/rp50ffpm Link to FB event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/1247878441933973/
  17. Just curious, is anyone playing with house rules? If so, what are some that you find helpful or interesting? I played a couple of games recently and walked away feeling like the game could still use a few more rules. One though I had was shooting into combat feels like it should come with a risk or penalty. Maybe ones are considered hits of friendly models?
  18. Hey folks, Just wanted to give a heads up that I'm bringing the following to OFCC Friday in case anyone wants to buy it. It's all painted (you can see how in person... pretty solid paint work though). Ready for tourney play. Usable as WFB, 9th Age, AoS (huge army!) etc: Copy/paste of original model order so you see exactly what's included. On top of this (~$1400 USD of models) it was all pro-painted and looks pretty damn good (see the Bloodthirster centerpiece, wow!) 1 Bloodthirster £70.00 £70.00 1 Khorne Chaos Lord on Juggernaut £30.00 £30.00 1 Khorne Exalted Hero with Axe and Shield £11.00 £11.00 1 Chaos Lord on Daemonic Mount £23.50 £23.50 1 Chaos Lord on foot £15.00 £15.00 3 Chosen Command £25.50 £76.50 5 Chosen £25.50 £127.50 1 Chaos Chariot £25.00 £25.00 1 Gorebeast Chariot £25.00 £25.00 2 Chaos Knights £20.00 £40.00 2 Skullcrushers of Khorne £58.00 £116.00 2 Chaos Warhounds £15.50 £31.00 2 Chaos Furies £18.50 £37.00 1 Hellcannon £36.00 £36.00 2 Banners of Rage £12.00 £24.00 model total £687.50 It's all bubble-wrapped (never opened after I bought it because 8th ed. died while it was being built for me) but I unwrapped the Bloodthirster to photo him. I can deliver at OFCC. Taking offers! $1400 in models and at least that much more spent on painting... but I need to make room so any offer will be considered! Thanks, Nathan
  19. As a kid, teen, college student, and up until recently I have always been infatuated with the Warhammer Fantasy Universe (and tabletop gaming in general), but never indulged. Maybe because of time or money, lack people to play with or all of the above at different times. Last month though my wife and I saw a great deal on the Age of Sigmar starter set and I finally took the plunge and grabbed it. I am absolutely in love with it, although I have yet to actually get my hands dirty in a pitched battle with a worthy opponent (my wife tries, but it just ends up being me playing myself haha). However, I have definitely been discouraged with the lack of people that seem to be playing it around me (I'm up in Bellingham WA) and I have been unhappy with the incredibly negative view of the game I have seen online. It seems everyone is upset about Fantasy getting put out to pasture. I guess my question for you veterans of tabletop is this: why has there been so much backlash to Age of Sigmar? The game hasn't been out too long, maybe it will just take some time for people to adjust? Also, what is everyone's opinion of AoS in terms of game quality? How does it compare to 40k for example? Also, if there is anyone in Bellingham reading this and wants to play please hit me up, I need someone to play with
  20. Hi folks, I am a long time Portlander and a old-time Warhammer fan but I have rarely had the chance to actually play so I thought I would go looking about town for fun folks to play with. 40k is neat and all, but I have always been a fantasy fan so I followed GW into AOS territory and find it not too bad, it will give me a chance to paint up all that grey plastic I have sitting around. I have been a mini painter for years and am actually pretty serviceable but I go pretty slow, I just need to push through to complete units. I am currently working on my starter box Khorne Bloodbound but have way too many models of other factions waiting to be unboxed. It seems the OF folk get together at the end of the month at GG for AOS, anything I should be aware of if I wish to stop by and say hello? I hope having regular people to play with will help me finish painting my troops. Picture attached of 15mm Song of Blades in my basement that I enjoy as well. Drow versus Wood Elves with my irregular game friends.
  21. I have decided that AoS isn't for me and I am going to sell my AoS specific stuff. $45.00 11 Liberators (7 painted) 1 Primed Mounted Lord Celestant with a bit of paint 1 Painted on Foot Lord Celestant 1 Primed Lord Relictor 3 Retributors (1 primed) 3 Prosecutors assembled w/o wings attached (I have them just didn't put them on) 15 Elf Sword masters on round bases. 4 painted 1 partially painted. Example of the paint job http://s772.photobuc...ds0haw.jpg.html I can provide a list of paints if needed.
  22. Scenario One: Shelter from the Storm Your legions land upon the burning landscape of the Realm of Fire. The air is hot and dry as the wind draws all the moisture from your skin. The broken and baked ground upon the Brimstone Peninsula hisses steam as boots crush the blasted earth beneath. The red sun beats down upon the land mercilessly, serving as yet another opponent seeking to crush all beneath it's burning gaze. As a huge gout of flame bursts from the broken, blackened earth a clarion call of battle rings forth over the blasted landscape. The enemy is visible from across the blasted Brimstone Peninsula, the battle chants filling the air with a cacophony of howls and cheers. As your armies get into formation the sky above darkens and the black and grey clouds swell and roil. Lightning bursts forth from the heavens striking the battlefield before you sending thousands of obsidian shards hurling in all directions. You see one of the enemies outriders struck the obsidian shards, the shattered stone shredding armor and bone and reducing the outrider to cooling meat in a second. After a moment the clouds have filled the sky, blotting out the burning sun. Hundreds of bolts of lightning begin to slam into the blasted landscape hurling debris and obsidian shards everywhere. You know that if you do not seek shelter before the storm breaks your army will be destroyed before you even cross blades with the enemy. The hot wind rips through your troops, tearing banners and standards off their poles. You know that your Battle Standard must not be destroyed for it will serve as the rallying point for your army once battle is joined. A massive ziggurat looms to the west, the red brick pyramid offers shelter from the oncoming hellstorm brewing above. As your eyes are drawn back to the battlefield you lock gazes with the enemy commander and the two of you both realize at the same time that the pyramid is the only respite. You bark orders to your legion to advance upon the ziggurat as your enemy does the same, which one of you will reach the shelter first and survive the storm? The Armies: Each player will field between 4 and 8 warscrolls. Scenario Objectives: 1. Get the model designated as the Battle Standard Bearer (or if you are not using a BSB then designate one model to be the Battle Standard) into the terrain piece designated as the Ziggurat*. - 5 points 2. Destroy the enemy Battle Standard Bearer - 2 points 3. Each surviving unit at the end of the game - 1 point per unit. 4. Slay the enemy general - 1 point Sudden Death will not be used this scenario. The Battlefield: The game field will be played upon a 6' x 4' gaming surface. There will be several hills in each 2x2' section and a single structure designated as the "Ziggurat" placed on the table edge opposite of the deployment zones for the players. Players will deploy in their deployment zones as normal. They may set up no closer than 12" from the enemy territory and no closer than 36" from the Ziggurat. Game Length - This scenario will last 6 Battle Rounds or until the first player gets his battle standard bearer into the Ziggurat. The game immediately ends and objective points are determined. Scenario Special Rules: Fireball - Wizards - in the Brimstone Peninsula know the Fireball spell in addition to other spells they know. Fireball has a casting value of 5. If successfully cast, select a target unit within 18" of the caster. If the target unit consists of 1 model it suffers 1 mortal wound. If the target unit consists of 2-9 models it suffers 1d3 mortal wounds. If the target unit consists of 10 or more models it suffers d6 mortal wounds. Raging Tempest - At the beginning of every Battle Round (not player turn) roll a D6 for every unit and consult the following table. D6 Roll: 1 - The unit has been struck by a bolt of lightning from the raging tempest above. The unit may not move or act this turn and suffers D6 mortal wounds. 2 - A bolt of lightning struck near the unit sending shards of razor sharp obsidian into its ranks. The unit suffers D3 mortal wounds. 3-5 - Nothing happens, but you still look to the sky fearfully. 6 - A bolt of lightning struck the unit but someone bravely leaped ahead giving his companions time to react. The unit suffers 1 mortal wound but the act of heroism inspires the unit and they gain +1 Attack for the duration of the Battle Round. Wounds suffered from the Raging Tempest still count towards Battle Shock. Victory Conditions: The player with the greater number of Objective points at the end of the game wins. A player that has no models left on the board loses the scenario but will retain their scenario points. League Scenario Reportings: Victory Points: Win - 3 points Tie - 2 points Loss - 1 point Victory Points + Objective Points = Final Scenario Score
