The model's weapon arms swivel horizontally at the elbows, and the top mounted missle rack is removable. So you can convert your Titan's weapon load out. It appears that the previous owner painted this model using a thin layer of paint washes, which left a lot of the original model detail in good condition. So if you'd like to paint over this model (without stripping the paint off first), you can do so without having to worry about losing a lot of surface detail. This model is ready to play out of the box... and you can also paint over it if you prefer a different look to match your army's style 🙂 * Adeptus Mechanicus Codex & Data Cards: $15 (sold together) (8th Edition) like new This codex and datacards are like new! There's a slight ding in the lower right front corner of the book cover, but the cover is not torn, scuffed, or scratched (as shown in the item photo). Even if you don't play WH40k 8th Edition, you can still enjoy the codex for the lore, cool art, and lots of photos of pro-painted minis 🙂 ____________________________________________ PAINTING TOOL * Citadel Colour Spray Stick: $18 (retail: $23) new in box PRIMER * Army Painter Spray Primer new, unopened, unused * Grey: $15 (retail: $17) * Black: $12 (retail: $13.50) PAINT new, unopened * Vallejo Game Color: $3.00 each (retail: $3.50) Heavy Blue (72.143) Ultramarine (72.022) Turquoise (72.024) Jade Green (72.026) Heavy Ochre (72.150) * Army Painter Warpaints: $3.00 (retail: $3.50) Matt White * Citadel Paints: $4.00 each (except where noted) (retail: $4.55) Flash Gitz Yellow Mournfang Brown Macragge Blue Fenrisian Grey : (Space Wolves layer color) Russ Grey : (Space Wolves layer color) The Fang : (Space Wolves base color) Agrax Earthshade: $7.00 (retail: $7.80) >> Bulk Paint Discount: Receive a 10% discount on the price of paints, if you buy all of the paints! ____________________________________________
  2. "If you are using the battle-forged method, you will instead need to organise the Imperial Knight models in your collection into Detachments such as the Household Detachment and the Oathsworn Detachment shown here. This is a fun process in its own right. Note that you can also include any of the Formations present in this section as a part of a Battle-forged army." Can I take a Household Detachment (3-5 Knights) that consists of the Exalted Court(5 Knights)?
  3. Finally decided to make this army, been in my head for a long while. Got the original idea from the random chapter creation tables in the Fantasy Flight Deathwatch RPG. The idea is that the chapter has a dysfunctional Catalepsean Node, which causes them to go to into deep sleep at random times (narcolepsy). The sleep is similar to stasis, so they effectively have a longer lifespan (though they often die while asleep due to outside influences). So, mid-battle, they might just go to sleep for 10-100 years. They tend to get mistaken for statues and are forgotten, hence the chapter name. Chapter is a Dark Angels Successor and a loyalist chapter, led by Interrogator-Chaplain Romanus. Chapter is often found working alongside Ordo Hereticus and the Sisters of Silence. Paint Scheme is a Dark Grey. That said, models will have visible rust and plants growing off them, representing years asleep. All marines will be helmeted. Chapter logo will be like the DA winged sword, but with bat wings instead of feathered. Army will not include any flying models, save a single Caestus Assault Ram (which rams whenever the pilot nods off the sleep) and any automated flying vehicles (like drop pods).

  6. For this escalation league, I have decided to build a new Space Marine army since the Codex was just released. This is still very much in the planning stage, so I expect things to change quite a bit. My only requirement for this project is that it must be built for stuff I have on hand. This could end up being a crazy and eclectic collection of models. With that in mind, let me introduce you to the first model for the army - A Stalker! :)
  7. I have to say, that I am really excited by this league. I have been loving 8th edition, but learning the rules has been tough. Not that the new rules are difficult to understand, but there is SOOOOOOO much to unlearn. And this league has been a great opportunity to break bad habits, and play with awesome people. So I will take a moment to thank @DisruptiveConduct for running this thing for us. And speaking of DisruptiveConduct..... Game 1 vs. Genestealers @ 25 Power Level So I decided to play my Imperial Consuls for this league. Which wasn't a hard choice since I only have two 40K armies, and the other one is three Imperial Knights. I used my 25 power to build out a Battaltion Detachment, but due to the restrictions of the game I ran it as a patrol detachment. It consisted of: Captain with Thunderhammer and The Shield Eternal Primaris Lieutenant with Boltrifle 5 man Tactical Squad with Combi-plas, chainsword, and missile launcher x2 5 man Intercessor Squad When used as a Battalion Detachment this grants me a total of 6 CP. But I was running this as a patrol det, so I went into the game with three. I then used 1 cp to grant my captain a relic. However, since I was using the Ultramarines chapter tactics, I picked the warlord trait that allows for me to regain spent CPs on a 5+ roll. So I wasn't worried about only have 2 CP. I had never faced genestealers before, and so I thought three troops choices with plenty of rerolls would be ideal. it would give me the versatility I would need to tackle just about anything. And with 9 leadership across the board, re-rolls in the morale phase, being able to fall back and shoot, and re-roll 1's to-hit and wound, AND having objective secured.... I was feeling very good about my life choices. The pictures don't really do the match justice because my phone died. But there were a lot of great moments, and tons of laughs. I got the win, and I learned genestealers are a neat army to play against. I look forward to pairing off again so that I can see how they operate with more units on the table.

Still tinkering with list concepts, but for GG league (it has to be ITC legal), thinking something like this: DA (Consecrators) Battle Demi-Company Company Master (TDA, Shroud of Heroes, CF) Tactical Squad (5, ML) -Razorback (Las/TL Plas) Tactical Squad (5, ML) -Razorback (Las/TL Plas) Tactical Squad (5, HB) -Razorback (TL Las) Assault Squad (5, Jump Packs) Devastor Squad (5, 4x MM) Dreadnought Squadron (3, 3x TL Las + ML) IK Oathsworn Detachment Paladin (Icarus Autocannon) SM (Ultramarines) Suppression Force Whirlwind Squadron (2) Land Speeder Squadron (2, 2x dual heavy bolters) Total 1850pts Basic concepts: Company master deep strikes with the assault squad, who function mostly as a body guard, since the demi-company can't take any terminator squads. Demi-company makes entire detachment objective secured and BS 3 in overwatch (includes the dreads for overwatch, but not the transports). Not decided on heavy weapon selections, but will likely be some combination of those weapons (with plasma cannons being a waste of BS 3 overwatch). Paladin is general purpose, but covers the otherwise lack of AA nicely, without actually having to devote a unit. I'm a big fan of including barrage in every army, so the suppression force is mainly for that - it really isn't a huge point investment, and I do think that having the option for unlimited range on the whirlwinds will pan out in some games. Speeders are always useful, plus the DA ones cost more (+5pts). I went dual heavy bolters speeders because I expect to be jinking in most situations, so being able to hit while snapping is what I'll need. As for weak points, it's meant as an all comers list, so it's weak to very specialized armies. Otherwise, this army is mostly slow and doesn't have any psychic solutions, other than killing the enemy psykers.
  12. http://www.ebay.com/itm/HUGE-My-Little-Pony-Space-Marine-Army-6000-16000-points-Warhammer-40K-/262756013187 I don't know what to say, really, I just don't know what to say... Let alone, which thread does this go into? WOWZERS
  13. Thanks! I have way more offers than I can handle now. Thanks for replying and PMing!
  14. So I'm working on organizing what I like to play into the new book. Looking at big picture 6 ish dreads by way of demi company and a CAD. Question is this, the chapter master appears to be an upgrade of the captain. By referencing pg 130. Can I take a chapter master in the demi company? He is the captain data slate referenced for the formation and there are no restrictions on the options listed...
