Guest
Rating shows by season (or series if BBC). Please only post if you saw the entire season. Doesn't need to be current TV, could be very out of date. Looking for a rating (a personal rating system) and your reasoning for the rating. Can be anime, cartoons, web cartoons and so forth, so long as it's released by the season/series. Shows with just a single seasons/series are fine too, so long as their one season is finished. I'll start: Nurarihyon no Mago 7/10. I enjoyed it. Not genius and uses the common anime "name the attack" approach, rather than having actual martial arts. Still, I enjoyed the plot and cast of characters. Nurarihyon no Mago: Sennen Makyō Sequel season. 6/10. It was pretty good, but I thought the original season was better. I suppose, it would be 7/10, had I not already seen the prievious season, as I think my disappointment did factor into my enjoyment. Burn Notice: Season 1 7/10. Another good, but hardly original show. Caters to the target audience that enjoys an over skilled main character with a herd of supporting characters that beat their enemies by always being more skilled/powerful. Comparable to the mentalist, house or early seasons of CSI in this respect (which I think are better shows, but it's that type of target audience). In case your wondering about three seasons of shows reviewed at once, I have quite a bit of "stamina" for watching shows in quick order. These were started and finished in the last week, hence why all reviewed together. -Pax
WestRider
Sleepy Hollow just wrapped up its first Season, and it was excellent. Best intro season for something with plans this big that I've seen in a long time. I also just got around to watching the 5th Season of Venture Bros. I'd gotten kind of worried when things started going off the rails in Season3 and the first part of Season 4, but the latter half of 4 and 5 pulled it all back together. Brilliant work, and I can't wait for Season 6.
Purplepeopleeater
Homeland Season 1 - Inari from Firefly is nekkid. What more could you want? Ok, if you want a little more substance, good story and plot, it's worth the watch.

I also thought they went off the rails at the same time and thought it got back on in this season. -Pax

tombking
Warehouse 13 Season 4. After a 3 month hold wait from the library. Overall good stuff but they keep upping the ante on the cliffhanger season endings which is kinda annoying.

Sleepy Hollow is one complete seasons. Arrow has 3 seasons, so which are you rating? Elementary has two seasons, one completed, one unfinshed, did you mean the first season? -Pax
Gunnerson
WWII in HD 4/5 Awesome show and I enjoy history. I also liked getting a better idea of what my grandfather participated in as a member of the 1st Marines in the Pacific Theatre during the consolidation of the Solomon Islands Lilihammer 3/5 good fun pretty funny its super easy to picture Steven Van Zandt as a mobster after his run on the Sopranos Wild China 4/5 good show that displays a lot of the diversity of China making it appear to be an even more interesting place to vist. ---violating Paxmile' Law on completed seasons--- True Detective only 3 episodes so far but what Ive seen has me hooked Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConahey(sp?) as retired detectives revealing facts about a case they were involved in 15ish years prior. So many things wrong here. 1) I'm not paxmiles 2) It's pRetre 3) The only complete seasons law is silly. :)

Still, the rule about only completed seasons has been properly named: Petre's Law. It's a thing now. -Pax

Guest
Elemantary Season 1. I'm glad raindog suggested this one. Very enjoyable. Easily 8 of 10, maybe 9 of 10. It was especially interesting to see lucy lui in a more submissive role, as most of the stuff I'd seen her in previously, she played a very dominant role (in terms of her characters' personalities). I also respect the show's lack of cliffhanger season finale, somthing that many modern shows really need to do more of. I will note that this show is very close in premise to the Mentalist, in terms of the main character. I liked that show too, so this isn't a fault, just a note. -Pax
Guest
Watched metalocalypse. All 4 seasons and the 45 minute music movie in a day or two. Very do-able with all this snow and 10 minute episodes. I really like this show, though that 45 min episode was very poorly made and isn't worth watching. As for rating per season, Maybe a 7 of 10 for each and every season (1-4), but a 1/10 on the 45 minute music video. -Pax
Purplepeopleeater
Re-watched Deadwood during the Snowacopolypse. Love the series, especially Al Swearengen played by Ian McShane.
pretre
Ian McShane basically made that series for me. :)
PumpkinHead
Dinosaur Train on PBS. 6 seasons worth... My kid is into dinosaurs, so we watch it on a daily basis. It is fun for the kid and I enjoy the facts that go along with the show. I would rate it a solid 8/10 for people that like dinosaurs. :)

Guest
Been re-watching Red Dwarf. I think I've done 4 complete seasons in the last few days. There's only 6 30min episodes per season. Show is an easy 10/10. It's futurama in live action with a laugh track, and arguably a better plot. I find myself laughing hysterically in almost every episode, even though I've already seen them all. -Pax
ROGRE
Gunnerson mentioned it earlier in this thread but True Detective is worth your time. After a couple of friends told me to check it out I finally did and I am completely on board. Only five episodes in but so far it is incredible!
