barca
U can participate. Will add instructions to include other scales, so long as there are at least two gamers with same scale and opposing factions.
Noland
Perhaps Ed and I can play but we could play ourselves repeatedly and tally our efforts to the collective?
Noland
I think Ed and I are the only 6mm gamers out there. between the two of us, we probably could go battalion strength on both sides as a note.
barca
thumbnail sketch at this time: Think of this as a "mini Firestorm campaign", but only 2 turns/rounds. That is all that will fit into 4 hours: Setup time, in case tables not ready exactly at 7 PM: 20 min (if not needed, then add 10 min to each round). backstory (5 min) Explain the Procedure (5 min) Strategic Planning and Firestorm Allocation before each turn (5 + 5 min) 2 x 90 minute rounds (hard stop) Roll-up tactical battles to strategic level after each turn (5 + 5 min) Feedback surveys: 5 min Recognition and awards (5 min) Team event: WarPac Vs. NATO. Team captains role play as "Generals": Corps/Army commanders. The team captains/generals will have about 100 points each (more or less) to add to tables of their choice to support their battle plans (prob max of 40 pts per table) So, if you and Ed can "loan" some 6mm units that are not in your core lists, to the Generals, then they have the option of giving either or both of you some additional 6mm "Firestorm" units to fight your tabletop missions. Your 6mm Firestorm unit loans would have to be in addition to the 100 pts of 15mm models, just in case most or all of the support goes to the 15mm guys. If that is obtuse, I will explain more deliberately when I post updates to the thread. The scenario, backstory and map will be posted at least a week or more before the event, so as to reduce time during the event that might otherwise be needed for questions and explanations. So both of you are welcome to play, but as u said, you would likely be playing each other for both rounds. However, if you can convince 2 more gamers to play Team Yankee in 6mm, than that opens some options on match-ups.... Using Red Storm Rising as a source saves me a lot of time generating something from scratch, plus it's a pretty good story...
Noland
We can make your suggestions on point distributions work. When you post your thread, I will drop in a note on seats available for the munchkin Yankee fight.
