9th age not-skaven rule clarification

Recommended Posts

So no two wizards can have the same spell, so if I run a plague prophet on a pendulum with the upgrade, he auto gets the three spells, even not being a wizard? Also if I were to run with a magister and upgrade it to a plague patriarch as a level 4 would he auto get the other 4 spells from shamanism? Since the pendulum grants only those spells?

That all sounds correct, except that your Plague Prophet doesn't benefit from the Cauldron of Blight upgrade unless you make him a wizard:

Cauldron of Blight: A Wizard with this special rule does not generate spells as normal but always knows the following 3 spells: blah blah blah.

But yes, he gets those 3 Shamanism spells that can't be duplicated in the army, so your Plague Patriarch would get the other spells
