Guest
Burning out on 40k, but I have many models (40k and others) I'm rather attached to. Is there a tabletop battle game, like 40k, but one that allows me to pick my own rules and point value like the GURPS rpg does? I could make my own game, I suppose, but if one already exists, I should at least look into that.

jesselowe
Try Savage Worlds Showdown. Or, for fantasy stuff, Open Combat or Song of Blades and Heroes. For sci fi, there are a lot of options: Gruntz, Rogue Stars, or Horizon Wars, for starters.
Nick!
I can vouch for Song of Blades and Heroes. Decent activation system, works with 5-12 minis per side. I plan on using it for samurai skirmish fun.
Guest
Picked up a copy of Frostgrave. Got about halfway through on the bus ride home, but so far I like what I see. Not now, but in the future I'd like to get a practice game in with someone.
Guest
Working on a Frostgrave Warband very slowly. I'm going with an Enchanter, and got a discounted Empire Steam Tank I'm modifying to represent a Large Construct. I'm removing the Hull Cannon to replace with a Battering Ram, since the Large Constructs lack ranged weapons. Should look good when/if finished. Haven't decided on anything beyond that, but I'm thinking I'm going with a Siege theme, despite siege not really being a part of Frostgrave.
