Brother Glacius
Sorry, but don't have rules and been too long since I played necromunda (which I also don't have rules for). Specialists - these are guys you hire for basically the next game right? Spend 50 gold or whatever and you get them for the next match, and then they go away. Ammo roll - So I think you make this each time the model fires. If you make the roll, do you then run out of ammo? Or is it that you need to make it to keep shooting? So is a 6+ ammo on a weapon a good or bad thing?

You take ammo rolls anytime you roll a 6 to hit when shooting. Ammo rolls are on 2D6 (instead of the 1D6 in Necro). You have to roll equal to or over an ammo roll number. Weav
I think by specialists you mean operatives. Specialists are part of every list and stay with your team until I kill them.

WestRider
Their choice of terminology there was definitely poor. I've seen a ton of confusion over the difference between Specialists and Special Operatives.
Ish
"Specialist" specifically specifies special soldiers who specialize in special weapons, whereas the special "Special Operator" only specifies optional operators who operate operationally in operational operations. It couldn't be more clear.
Brother Glacius
What does the photo-visor do?

Ish
A stationary fighter equipped with a photo-visor reduces the penalty when shooting at a model in cover by 1. So, partial cover is ignored and cover counts as a -1 to hit modifier rather than -2. Please do not use any when fighting my Harlequins. Pretty please.

Won't affect you since you should be running every turn(or charging) and that is a different penalty for models shooting at you.
WestRider
It's if the shooter is stationary, not the target. So it will still cut down on how much advantage the Harlies can get from Cover.
Ish
Enemy fighters suffer a -2 hit modifier instead of only -1 when shooting at running Harlequins... which "stacks" with Cover modifiers, so a Ninja-Clown that runs into Cover is imposing a –4 hit modifier. Which is why we'd be ever so grateful if no one used photo-visits, flamers, or frag grenades when fighting us. ?
jollyork
Didn't remember it stacked, but you (and I) will still be running (or charging) every turn, so those photo visors won't be around long enough to cause grief. Muahahaha ?

Muahahaha ? And in my next game, I have to remember that Harlequins cause Fear tests when charging or being charged. That would have been important when dealing with Steel Angel's Skitarii...
