I went through red castle last time, and they did a good job. Guardian is just a lot closer to home.

Raindog
Seth, Guardian is notoriously bad with their orders. I am still waiting for one from August of last year. I have checked about 9 times so far...... Jay has had similar luck.

Ogre Seth
A little more progress, and some fun warsenal tokens. I'm thinking that I wan to do steel grating and sidewalk look for the bases. I'm thinking of using cross-stitch plastic grid and plasticard for this effect. Any suggestions?

Ogre Seth
First wash... Still doesn't look like much. But it comes together quick. The bases are more of an unknown.

Ogre Seth
Ahhh... That's better :) Now listen! We're not talking about wet blending, fine detail dry brush or air brushing.... We are talking about speed painting something that is beautiful on the game table. And for that, I freaking LOVE washes. :) Welcome back my green beauties.
Ogre Seth
Concept base.... I like it. Unless anyone has a crazy good idea for a quick improvement to this base I think I will go with this for the whole army

Just keep in mind that the wash is the tool and what you're talking about is using it to quickly tint and shade pieces .
Ogre Seth
The previous wash left them a little to Olive colored for my taste. So I added a green wash and I think I prefer that more vibrant green.
Ogre Seth
Ok, just looked at the previous picture... Yeah, you really can't see it in the photo. But on game night vs Eric I felt they were so icky green looking
