WestRider
I was thinking about how one of my issues with the Netflix Daredevil show is that Daredevil is the worst character in it, and then realized that if you take that thought to the logical conclusion, all of the Marvel Netflix shows should be called Claire Temple.

Raindog
My daughter and I walk by a crow eating the anus of a road killed squirrel. She says to me, "I don't mind seeing a dead squirrel, but I don't need to see it's bloody butt."

WestRider
Why is Daredevil the least interesting character in his show? I've been saying since I watched it that my biggest problem with that show is that it's called Daredevil. Should have been one Season of Kingpin and one Season of Punisher. Or, like I said above, just call them all Claire Temple ;)
WestRider
I'm pretty sure the Skavenblight Scramblers' Thrower was killed by the fans after that Game. Three failed pickups at AG4 with Sure Hands. They only actually moved one other dude in the first two Turns combined.

WestRider
One consequence of having a three year-old nephew is that I have become rather better acquainted with the cartoon Octonauts than I ever would have guessed. I bring it up because one of the follow-on consequences of that is that I now always envision DeathWatch briefings being done in the format of the Octonauts' Creature Reports, including the dance breaks.

WestRider
I kind of figured there would be some folks on here who could relate. Not really painful, tho. It's actually a pretty fun show, if not something I would have chosen to watch on my own.
WestRider
In Gathering Storm 2, they talk about Khaine, Cegorach, and Ynnead forming a Trinity as the core of a revived Eldar Pantheon. Cegorach has long been known as The Laughing God, and Ynnead is referred to in several places as The Whispering God. I guess that makes Khaine The Yellin' God

PourSpelur
Complete side tangent: Lowe's always pisses me off. When buying things like tools I tend to go for the middle priced option. The most expensive ones have all the options I don't need and the cheapest ones usually break immediately. Lowe's business policy seems to be, "we only carry Ferraris or Jalopies".

CaptainA
Yesterday I spatchcocked a chicken...and I feel pretty good about it.
PourSpelur
Typing "Spatchcocked chicken" into Google feels an awful lot like Russian Roulette.
Romans832
The problem is that chicken breasts dry out if cooked beyond 150°F (66°C) or so, but legs need to come up to 175°F (80°C). Spatchcocking, or butterflying, is the solution: By flattening out the chicken, you expose its legs to higher heat, helping them cook a little faster than the breasts—which is exactly what you want for juicy meat. It also yields crisper skin and a much faster cooking time than traditional roasting. In and out of the oven in 45 minutes or less!
Duckman
I don't think it matters what it actually means. If you tell me you spatchcocked my dinner I think I am skipping it and stopping for a bite on the way home. (When my wife roasts chicken she spatchcocks it but that's not something you discuss in polite company.)

Brother Glacius
What the hell is Starlord doing in this picture? He's holding up his tunes in one hand, and then shooting off into wherever without looking, striking some sort of..."whoa...I'm falling backwards" pose. This is really throwing me off.
Duckman
o.0 You're having problems with a pose in a movie poster about a franchise where lots of aliens mine the hollowed out skull of a titan floating in space facilitated by the fact that the interior of the skull has a breathable atmosphere. Does this poster not show all the important things about Starlord's character? Is it not cool? Methinks youse overthinking this one.
