Andrewgeddon
Good Old Games just put out Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate, Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, and Warhammer Epic 40,000: Final Liberation. I got into the PC game a little late, but I remember playing the demo of Chaos Gate back before I knew what Warhammer was, so looking forward to picking these ones up! http://www.gog.com/
generalripphook
What sort of game is this? RTS or Turn based? How do people like it?
pretre
Chaos gate was turn based squad strategy. Final liberation was campaign style turn based strategy (epic 40k style). Shadow was a wacky real time strategy warhammer fantasy game.
Peanut
I loved all of those games. Chaos gate, if its the one Im thinking of, played a lot like old Xcom. Shadow of the horned rat is an awesome total war kind of game. Very hard, very tactical. These got me into warhammer before I could afford actual warhammer. Blustorm
I've been itching to play some Final Liberation for awhile now. Thanks for the heads-up!
Brother Glacius
Final Lib was the best. I think I still have copies of all of those games.
pretre
I still have Final Lib, but not CG or Shadow of the Horned Rat.
Blustorm
Final Lib was the best. I think I still have copies of all of those games. So do I, but none of them work on any of my modern PCs.
tombking
So do I, but none of them work on any of my modern PCs. And that's the good part about GOG, they have made sure that it will work on a modern PC!
