Okay, I admit it. I am copying Evan. He has a good idea. I like it.

So my OFCC list. Yeah - 10 models. Sooooo much easier than painting for WHFB.

- What game was that again?

Any- hoo, back to Infinity.

I am going Bham for the most bang for the buck: One Fire team, one Haris, two role players.

Pros:

The sum is greater than the parts.

The Muyib Link is for touching buttons and gunslinging. They bring D-Charges, a WIP 15 Hacker, Panzerfausts and Spitfire into the fight. I expect them to die.

The Ghulam Link is to own the board with ARO pieces and long range fire power. Late in the game, they can advance and go for objectives. Leila has D-Charges and is a hacker. The doctor can heal well. The FO is there to stun and act as a third cheap specialist.

The Barid can launch repeaters to help the Husam and Leila and he is another specialist to press buttons in desperate situations.

The Farzan is there to be a pain and take pressure off the Baird.

Out of 10 models, 7 are specialists. It is the Haqq way. I cannot piece trade, but I can try to duplicate as many functions as possible, so some one can achieve the tasks.

Weakness:

No TO

No Superiority of Fire Power.

No Engineers.

No MSV.

No Durability.

Jeff,

If you have the models,

This is what I would take vs. your Pan-O next Week:

Goals of the List: Try to get as many of the Inferior Infiltrating Volunteers as close as possible. They are there to be as rude as possible. Sure, they may not make their rolls. If they do not, they guard flanks and power the Highlanders with orders. The Highlanders are for piece trading. With William Wallace, they are regular orders. Very nice. The SAS work like my Farzan. One can FO to help the Grenade Launcher in William's Group.

Group Two has the Cateran and Scot CH ML for ARO pieces. William is there to make the list work. He makes 8 irregular orders into regulars. 20 regular orders can move models. Cypher is a button pusher and can help with hacking. The Wallace, Volunteer, Grey group is your hunter group.

For ITS, I would drop a Inferior Infiltrating Vol and a Cateran for a 112 and para in Wallace's group, etc....

This Week in Infinity:

1) Picked up a Govad HMG from Fate and Fury. George was kind enough to put one behind the counter for me.

2) Ordered terrain from Battle Kiwi!

3) Watched Rumble on Route 66 Coverage.

4) Painted a new piece of terrain: Mantic industrial piping and housing. It is bright blue and purple.

5) Hard coated the Muyib from last week.

6) Watched videos on how to paint tanned / middle eastern flesh on models.

7) Painted 90 percent of my Leila Model for Rampage. I am satisfied with the skin. I also tried to make her look like Jen Harper.  The base is the only thing left to paint.

8) Played Jeff again. He took a different Pan-O list with a Swiss ML, the Niss Sniper, Niss HMG, two Auxillia, and a Black Friar.  The came was close. He made me earn every inch and had models in my backfield. The three of the four objectives scattered in to his half of the table, so it was a hard go for the start. The secondary objective was LT. Kill, so I raced to kill what I thought was (and was correct), was his LT. It took me two turns a Mutt, my Muyibs, and Asawira, but I broke through for the kill. My Farzan won the game: Total MVP. He took out the Swiss, the LT. a Fugazi, an Aux, and both Niss in two turns and put Jeff in retreat.

9) Talked Calendonia with Jeff and Pete. Last night, I made a 20 x 20 list with 20 orders to try if Jeff wants me to try Calendonia vs. his Pan-O as we had talked about last night.

10) Sprayed the under side of 15 models....

So thinking about my game with Jeff and his stout defense. I realized I had opened an ammo crate to obtain grenades. I could have hid from the Aux Bot and handler and spec fired a grenade around the corner to try to blow them both up........  This why I love this game so many options........

This week in Infinity!

1) Painted another medium sized gantry piece. I will have an OFCC Table that is better than last years. I really want to have a surface with multiple extended levels of play.

2) Played at a 150 point ITS!

I took this list:

The list is built around a defensive fire team with a few role players.

The tables at Fate & Fury are top notch with a mix of multiple makers of MDF terrain and mousepad mats. Joe B brought donuts, so I was a happy man.

In Game One, I challenged John Allen since I have never played him in any game system before. We played Capture and protect. He has the French with Metros, a Dossier, and a 112 on the table. Margot and Duroc were off the table.  He hid, so I rushed up and pressed the button and approached the flag. He came in with Duroc and killed everything he fought. I managed one wound on Duroc with a crit. John made like 17 out of 20 armor saves, so I thought I needed to stop fighting and just go for the mission. I grabbed the flag and hid it on my side of the table. Duroc  tried to rampage again, but was shot in the nuts by by remaining Ghulam's shot gun as Duroc leapt down to eat him. John tried to reach his button, but I had surrounded it with my Mutt, mines, and Farzans. He never made it. My Ghulam coup de graced Duroc for a 10-1 win. John had 33 points woth a models left on the table.

After Lunch, I faced Evan and his ARF. He managed to Inferior Infiltrate a Grunt on the top of the large Top Down Terrain building with my link on top. He went first and wrecked my team with the Grunt and Van Zandt came in a cleaned up the rest. Evan beat me with every roll, but one.  I was wiped out by the end of turn two.

For the last game, I played Scott Dyer and his JSA. My sniper and Mutt went to town. In the first turn, we tied for consoles, but I weakened his numbers. In the second turn, I removed him from the console he had and put him into retreat. I should have jammered more and moved specialists to other consoles, I could have had a third turn and scored more points, but since we were playing Antenna Field, not playing a third turn cost me 3-4 additional points. I won 3-1.

I ended up third and game have with $15 in store credit and

Kosail and Bakunin Patch. I should have ordered a Fiday!!!!!!!!! Instead, I will save it for the new Ayyar model when it comes out.

3)  Tonight, I played an instructional game with Justin. We both play Haqq, we have similar lists. I tried to walk him through his options and show him what tricks Haqq can do. I hope I was helpful.

After talking with Jay this weekend, I thought it was time to change the title of this thread. It is a go. I am in. Now, it is time to run.

BTW, been meaning to ask why this is Inifinity Run and not Infinity Run. Maybe I'm not ini on the joke!

This week Infinity!

1) I learned I cannot spell nor recognize spelling errors .........

2) Painted a lot of boots of  Rampage models.

3) Played an ITS at Glimpses on Saturday. It was 200 points and limited insertion. I took a version of the list I have been playing for several weeks now. My goal is not win or lose, but know how to use the models I have. There were 8 people who game to play. Jacob came from Sandy, so huzzah to him! Jake Richmond, Matt and Ben from the Red Castle crew came out o play, so that was a special treat. Of the 8 people playing, I had played Nate K. once and Evan (well often, but he is great guy and skilled player. He is one of the best players in the metro).

First, game, I played Matt and us Ariadna. The woods on the field were super low vis zones, so -2 burst and -6 to see through. It was a big challenge to play Tic-Tac Toe on. Matt played a solid game, but I squeaked out win connect three coms laterally down the table and achieved my classified. It was much closer than the 10-0 score since I used my last order to connect the last comm.

In the middle game vs Jake and his Shock Army, we were playing Capture and Protect. We both pressed buttons. His Tikblong grabbed the flagged. I stupidly did not see four ARO shots as he raced the flag back to his lines. I hot my classified, and then used the last of my orders to take my Muyib team up the table and take out his Machinist, Sniper,  and (using my last order to down his)  TIkblong with the flag. His last turn, he was in retreat with a single model. I won 5-4.

In the third game, I played Evan. Evan beat Nate K (no small feat ) to reach the top table. First, Uxia refused to superior infiltrate. Then,  he started the game by jumping his the Spec-Op hacker. He battle out hacking with my Barid. My Baird lost the battle twice, but made his BTS saves.  I got a Brain Blast through and his hacker went down.  Evan had one a Line Kazak and Uxia not in Camo.  He was tucked in to avoid my Ghulam Sniper and ML perched on the  high ground, so I grabbed as many consoles as I could. Evan's dice would not cooperate with him. He played well his dice did not like him as much as mine like me. I gobbled up  coms and hit my classified for the 10-0 win. Evan was on like 4 hours of sleep, so he was not on his best game. I am sure he will clobber me next time.

4) Josh C. brought back my Adepticon loot: connectors from Mantic and the new acrylic tokens from Warsenal. They are very cool and I thank him for the time. He was like Santa bring goods to everyone at the club tonight.

5) My daughter made a carved linoleum block of the Ordo logo this week and together we plastered the club with prints on the walls.

6) I played Edward and his vanilla Ariadna tonight. I used my luck yesterday. I could not out shoot him nor hack. He had dry spells, too. I could have won, if I had just walked my models up the field, but I was determined to Overlord his TAG. When that did not work,  I tired to shoot up his TAG. Edward made all of his saves. Only one crit made it through.........out of 13 hits with my Spitfire.....

7) Brian Schmidt brought my and Darron Forbes)new Deepcut Studio mats. we had made a group order. Both were beautiful, but 3'x3's and not the 4'x4's we ordered.. Meh
