Since question was asked on Warsound, I will repeat my response here.

QUES: Mine are kinda unfinished. Whats the rules on paint for this one?

ANS: How about (mostly) correct models
and correct bases sizes,
and mostly painted.
By "mostly correct model" an example would be a Pzr IV 'X' can proxy for any Panzer IV
, or if you only have Panzer III models on the table, and they are ALL proxies for the same model of Panzer IV, then that would be OK
Wheeled cannot sub for a tank.

as for painted, I will go with what T.S posted on this topic in the recent past:
"taran.shannara
Posted 30 October 2014 - 06:31 PM
...
For ones that are held at Guardian Games that I organize, I prefer painted armies but if it means one doesn't play I'd rather have the person at the tournament and playing than not. Without a painted army, the person isn't in the running for best painted and it also hurts the illusion of "being there" for the opponent. It used to hurt the overall general award but now we do a best axis and best allied general and paint score is not part of that award. Painting is a separate award and score. Proper sized bases are required regardless.
For convention tournaments like Enfilade in Olympia, WA, painted armies are required."

Yup I talked with them and they are a maybe right now. They have to get permission from parents to be gone all day, especially because it will be Nathan's birthday. I'm about 75% certain they will be there.

They are 16 and 13 years old so keep that in mind if you are offering a loaner army. I personally trust them with my models and don't think there will be any issues, but wanted to make it clear up from the that teenagers would be handling their minis.

I've got some partially painted Germans that will likely end up being redone - tanks only, if they have some infantry they can bring that would be helpful, though I could bring some LW as proxy as well.  Heck, if they're good sports I may even let them walk away with some of the figures...
