derek Posted July 24, 2016 Report Share Posted July 24, 2016 Hey guys so i have archaon hes ready to rumble the next time i get a game but i feel like people are wanting to play only 2k or lower for games. If i had a solid theme for my army of say might skullcrushers some blood crushers some gore beast chariots and some chaos knights and plauge drones followed up by archaon a vermin lord and a glotkin would anyone actually object to playing a bigger than 2k game? Threejacks Posted July 24, 2016 Report Share Posted July 24, 2016 Shouldnt be an issue,,but make sure ahead of time when setting up a game that size.Its likely the other player will need to bring a signature named model to match up with you. As far as guaging the size of such an army,I would say that anything over the 2500 point range in the book would likely turn into a grindfest over several hours of play and play more like a 2 player game of Apoc in 40k. derek Posted July 24, 2016 Author Report Share Posted July 24, 2016 Well for now i can see it being anything.over 2k is gonna grind but i played 8th ed and had an 8k woc army that i regularly played with that points level and my friend and i could hammer out that game in anywhere from 4 to 6 hours. Amd anyting lower than 4k in about 2. The reason i ask about archaon is because i got the model amd hes the iconic fantasy character that drew me to playing fantasy and age of sigmar.
