The lifespan of most laptops is three years. I would go for a cheaper netbook like ASUS offers since they will likely be replaced before high school.

i would love to do this now that my tyranids have their beloved spore delivery systems returned to them. as for playing 40k on sundays - they usually run pretty deep on the fantasy side and i would not want to take table space away from that group. they might bite.

It wouldnt boot if its the power supply It is very likely a corrupt sector on yer hard drive that just happens to be where your system files live. Get a diff hard drive, replace current one with it, reload windows on new drive. Catalyst control center always crashes out eventually (bad programs are bad). I doubt it is the cause.

Im with pax and duck. blizzard doesnt need my photo id. Thats just dumb. They already have everything else normal companies require for identification: CC, address, full name, email, etc. Its just a video game account. Holy hell.

Sounds like yer stuck in a windows upgrade reboot loop. I see this often at work. Sometimes it recovers. Sometimes it doesn't. Boot and hit F8 repeatedly until the advanced boot options menu shows up. Try last known good configuration. You need it to boot once without it rebooting on its own. Then try safe mode if that doesn't work. We end up reinstalling Windows on most of these computers. The data is still there if you take the hard drive out. Luck to ya.

I hestitate to say how anything is going to be done next year until Head of Gaming submissions are received and a HoG is elected in October/November. If you are interested, look for a post next month about the process. Thanks!

Okay. I see it better now that the question is restated. When dealing with a permissive rule set, one must ask themselves "Where does it say I CAN do this?" You have found good rules to justify everything but the IC leaving the unit it was joined to before the redeployment.
