OFCC annoucement

Recommended Posts

At this point I can't say that I'll be coming unless there are more double queen rooms made available, and the room rate is opened up for Thursday arrivals and Monday departures (ie a four night stay). Sad to say, but that's the state of it right now. I really wanted to defend my last place from 40K 2013, and reach for Marshall's award at the same time!

Those of us that live a LONG way away need to stay Friday night and Sunday night. I already booked my room arriving on Friday and leaving on Monday, I don't know if you can get them to give you credit for my Sunday night reservation or not.

And with the AClub coming in on Thursday I might have to add Thursday to get some more man time with those afraid of America nutjobs! LOL

I have some rooms set aside for Thursday and Sunday.  (4 total currently).  Please book them :)  Also they added some double queens.  Please let me know the number you will book so I can make sure we are not under our commitment.

Thanks Burk.  I was able to get two double queens for the Friday/Saturday/Sunday - perhaps other gamers reached in and grabbed some! The lady said they only have one single queen available right now other than the two I was able to book.  If you are able to get any more, I'm sure that Doc will be a happy chappy :)

I intend to come, though I need a team. Will be IG/DA if it matters. I do not need a hotel.

I might be able to have someone crash in my apartment, but I'll warn you I have neither a spare bed nor a couch, so it would be a sleeping bag type crash. I live right near the MAX, though on the opposite end of town (maybe 2 hours commute...).

Hey, anyone used the Max line from the train station? Wondering at the feasibility of taking the train from Tacoma and Max to the hotel.

Very easy and have done it before. Train goes to Portland no problem. Green/Yellow MAX stops right outside the train station.

Assuming linked hotel is correct (http://doubletree.hilton.com/en/dt/groups/personalized/R/RLLC-DT-OFC-20140926/index.jhtml),

Board Green MAX line Towards "clackamas town center"

Get off at Lloyd Center Stop.

Should be about a block or two away.

Thanks! I asked if anyone had used it because sometimes the difference between reality and what Google says can be quite large

Any decisions on Stronghold/Escallation/FWlists/FWmodels/Handwritten notes from Jervis/Datasheets yet? I ask only because I'm such a slow painter I need all the time I can get

As far as I know the HOG has not made a final decision. There will probably be more information released after this weekends meeting.
