Atules
Hello everyone, Played v3 many years ago and looking to take my 101st airborne into v4 but I have to admit that I'm not quite sure what I should be picking up or what is different. Do I need unit cards? Which rulebook should I be picking up? Any help for a noobie wpuld be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
fingolfen
If you're looking to do LW, the existing V3 lists are fine, and there is an EW/LW conversion book out there. MW has no paras at this point.

phyfor88
The game is mostly like it used always has been. Some of the historical flavor is gone in the latest edition thus far. I have been playing from the beginning of FOW in 2003. I play TY and 4th edition MW. I have not yet played a late war game but it uses the same rules as MW just different units. I am happy to be back to mid war I have been playing to much late war for many years. Join us on thursday evenings, at guardian games, and we can get you plenty of information and get you back into the know and if you like we can loan you an army to roll some dice. Turnout for v4 Mid-War: 2-4 players Team-Yankee turnout varies between 2 and 6 gamers per week. Factions: US=3, SOV=3, W-Ger=1, E-Ger=1, BRIT=1+(a) NOTE (a) - One gamer is proxying other models for BRIT before he decides what to buy. ZEKE
Some of us have also been playing on TUESDAY nights at a new location in Oregon City. Oregon City Geeks & Games (OCGG for short) is owned by a player of Flames of War and he loves having us there playing. They have 3 tables always waiting.
