Regarding ebay and such, the GSC were hugely overpriced and rare on ebay BEFORE they had codex and rules. And you'd only find them sold as individual models. I'm not surprised that they are hard to find, in army quanities, now that they have rules. Though regarding old stuff, there was an Inquisitor scale Genestealer made that makes for a wonderful broodlord. Another hard to find/expensive mini.
