Without wings, the daemon prince needs to be bigger than a space marine, but smaller than whatever you are using for a Greater daemon. Modern Daemon Princes are on 60mm rounds while Greater Daemons use the Flyer Oval base. As for how big the model is, it's basically the size of a 40mm scale marine (Inquisitor Scale), and really hasn't changed in size much over older metal versions, except the plastic one is much more muscular and has a spead out pose.
