I'm hashing out some schemes for Celestine & SoB, and I've narrowed down my choices to the following. Both are based on MtG characters. Shi Guy Posted March 6, 2018 Author Report Share Posted March 6, 2018 As Riley and Aaron can attest, I tend to paint mostly darker schemes, so my natural tendency is leaning me toward the black and white as well. For some reason the BnC version of that looks a bit boring to me though. I think it's the lack of contrasting color. Guest Posted March 6, 2018 Report Share Posted March 6, 2018 That first photo is great and would be an awesome army. That said, I wouldn't dare paint them like that. Just really tough to paint that look. Dunno, haven't tried, just looks tough. Could probably figure it out, but an entire army of those seems too demanding. I suppose, if you can figure out how to achieve the pearl look very easily, while being still amazing, then it would be worthwhile to paint the whole army as such.
