Warhammer Legends

Recommended Posts

"Warhammer Legends will be the new home of rules for classic and fan-favourite miniatures. While not intended for matched play, they’ll still be great for anyone looking to forge epic narratives or who wants to see how the heroes of yesteryear fare against the newer champions from the Age of Sigmar."

Has there been any talk of this on the 40k side? I'm looking at Mounted Lords, Rough Riders, etc.

So is the idea that they're going to screw over players using old models by making the dated models into Open Play only, or is this more directed at the even older characters that didn't make the index cut, but characters that GW wants to keep their copyright on?

And even if it was characters, kharn will always be kharn, yarrick will always be yarrick, regardless of what version you use.

It says Miniatures, not Characters.  I take this to mean Juggy Lord, Rough Riders, etc, when applied to 40k.

Losing the juggerlords would be annoying, but it is true that their rules are just terrible and their points are ridiculous, so fielding them in matched play has proven to be a mistake many times.
