Team Yankee is a tabletop miniatures wargame that is set in a fictional World War III in 1985 based on the novel of the same name by Harold Coyle. The game is a miniature wargame with each player taking command of a company or battalion level force consisting of 1/100 scale miniatures (15 mm figure scale) and miniature armor, airplanes and helicopters. barca Posted June 18, 2018 Author Report Share Posted June 18, 2018 SAT, JUN 16. We tried out an ANZAC list from the New Free Nations book. Matched against my Soviet T-72 tank battalion. ZEKE and S. (ANZAC) vs lazarus and myself (Soviet). It quickly became a knife-fight. Artillery units on both sides used direct fire against tanks. Lazarus, using a tenacius flank attack while threading the needle, had victory within his grasp,... ...but the race was decided in the opposite corner of the battlefield, before he could secure the objective. RESULT: A bloody squeaker of a victory for the Aussies and Kiwis. The Leo 1's performed as expected, but there were other highlights... MENTIONED IN DISPATCHES: The "Doom-Rovers" (a.k.a. "Gun Buggies") are "malevolent demons from the hell of warped capitalism."
