Due to demand, the Ordo Fanaticus Club Challenge and Ordo Bowl will be holding a three round Blood Bowl Sevens tournament on Friday August 24th 2018! That's right, participating in Sailing the SEVENS Seas gets you even more Blood Bowl action the evening before Ordo Bowl II: Southstorm Slaughter. The event will be ran by experienced Blood Bowl Sevens tournament organizer David Burroughs @Patriarch of Sigmar of the Everett Blood Bowl league. The rounds begin at 7pm, and are expected to go until 11pm or so.

  • Wandering Apothecaries, Babes, Igor, Bribes, Mercenaries, and Halfling Chefs are all allowed for purchase as normal

  • Teams may be selected from any of the 24+2 races in Blood Bowl Living Rulebook 6, Blood Bowl DZ2 and Teams of Legend

Big news! Sailing the Sevens Seas will now begin at 7pm to accommodate players playing in other Friday events. That means you can play 40k, Shadespire, Infinity...you name it, you can still play Blood Bowl Sevens! Original post has been updated.

So, being new to this.  How does the skills work?  Do I just pick 2 skills from season 1 and/or season 2 and give them to any player I want?

Great question! The answer is ‘kinda’. You must make sure the skill is from an acceptable category for the player type. For example, a Human Blitzer can choose from General and Strength. You could give two Human Blitzers Mighty Blow, one Blitzer Guard and the other Mighty Blow, and so on. The skill must be from a category they can normally choose from. The exception being Stunty teams, who have some ability to select doubles. An example of a double would be a Goblin team Troll taking Block.

Does that help, @MexicanNinja? Feel free to post your sample roster here, and we can help. I plan on posting my Dark Elf roster soon.

SO, since my Ogres are already painted and I have a ton of other stuff to paint for OFCC...

Ogre (Pass)
Ogre (Break Tackle)
Ogre
6 Runts
Apo
1 Fan Factor

Pass seems like an odd choice, but I kinda like it... might be better to take something like Sure Hands or Block though. Could also drop the 3rd Ogre for a RR, although that only leaves me with 1 guy on the bench.

Yeah man, I think Block or something similar is better than Pass. Remember that you only fumble a TTM on a one, so on a 2+ the Snotling is going flying. I do question if two Snotlings are needed in reserves. @Burk, whaddaya' think?

Ogres over re-rolls every time in 7s (keep in mind I have a strong aversion to any rerolls in 7s so I may be a tad biased)

Maybe I'll go Sure Hands instead then.

2 Snotlings might not be needed, but what else is there to spend the money on? More staff?
