Fall KILL TEAM LEAGUE!

I wouldn’t advance it so rapidly. I think you’re meant to “sweat a little” when deciding to bring the Level 3 Advanced Badass or two of the Level 1 Newbies...

Maybe +10 points every third week?

(Also, Pax, I’m reasonably certain the Roster has a hard cap of 20 models. I’m away from my book though, would need to double check.)

Pg. 66: "A Specialist starts at Level 1, and has the ability shown in the band for that level. In a Campaign, Specialists gain experience, and can advance up to Level 4." No other way of obtaining higher level Specialists is mentioned anywhere.

Pg. 203: "This Roster is created in the same way as for a Matched Play Command Roster, with the following difference: It starts with up to 12 Models, rather than 20, and can grow beyond 20 Models as the Campaign progresses."

That said, this is GW. Their approach has always been that whoever is running a League or whatever is free to modify the Rules as they see fit.

We'll play it by ear, depending on how we learn about level gains and how quickly/large it is. And yes, the command roster said max 20.

Westrider has it right, the cap on 20 models for the command roster is for matched play. Campaign play removes that limit, though they have an initial limit of 12 models.

Though if you are running this, you could change it to whatever. I'm just trying to get a handle on what my options are and what I need to plan to face when my opponents bring stuff.

Question on creating your command roster: I know the limit is 12 duderz to start, but is there any limit on what/who/how much they are? Like, is there a certain point limit I have to stay within for the command roster, or can I just grab 12 randos off the street with whatever I want them to have?

Command Roster must have at least 1 Leader, but there are no other restrictions on what types they are.

There's also a minimum requirement of 3 models in your kill team, so make sure that any command rosters option aren't just spamming limited per kill team models (like, don't bring 12x leaders, or 12x gunners....).

But this sort of thing should be common sense.

I won't be able to make Tuesday night (or any Tuesdays unless I win the lottery), but want in on the league.  I can play on Saturdays or Sundays at WoW, GG, or pretty much any store east of there (can even pull off Vancouver).  I live in almost Sandy Gresham and have 3 killzone boards/terrain if you want a non-shop meetup.  I'll be posting my Kill Team roster later in the week, but expect much Greater Goodness.

I live near Gresham/Boring myself. I'd be available if some week you can't get a match. But yes, Sunday's WoW will be hosting players too.

As for command roster, i'm more of just fill your 100 point kill team. If someone dies, replace him and add his name to the roster.

I live in Hillsboro, Oregon. I'd be down for meeting up at the GW/Warhammer store in hillsboro to play kill team. I'll also be at WOW on tuesdays, and some sundays.

I think @Torg lives near me, should you want play in this league without going to WOW, I'd play you there.

Currenty I’m on a hiatus from gaming... trying to clear some stuff from my todo list before the weather fully changes to rain.

Wow learned about a new (to me) city in the State which I already live in, that is quite a distance. I had noted that you were in one of the Warhammer Store's leagues so I assumed you lived out here. I didn't research it/stalk you.

I couldn’t make it to WoW last night, anyone up for a Kill Team league game at Guardian tonight? 5:00-5:30ish?

A lot of you are going to be there for WH40k, so maybe warm up your dice with an early game of Kill Team. That is, unless you’re afraid to face me. Mwa-hahaha!
