Tuesday 9/11 - Ordo Game Night at WOW

Recommended Posts

Time: 5 PM to 9 PM (we sometimes open or stay later)

Location: 717 SE Main St. Portland OR 97214 (map) - Around the corner from Kokiyo Teriyaki and up the stairs

Cost: $5 for Ordo Members, $2 for Ordo Warlord Champions, FREE for Emperors!  And as always, your first Game Night is FREE!

Games we play: All, with a focus on 40K, board games, Blood Bowl, Necromunda and more. There is sometimes talk of playing Alien Frontiers. New players are always welcome. Although it is possible to find a pickup game at Game Night, it is much better to prearrange a game before coming down.

Come get your KILL TEAM on! We have a planned Kill team boot camp. Learn to play Kill Team, prepare for the upcoming league (see below), and more! If you can prepare a list ahead of time, BattleScribe is great. Else, just bring some minis we can help build a team for you if needed. Simply pick your 40k faction and bring some troops (somewhere in the neighborhood of 5-10 would do). Don't need a rulebook or anything, just minis!

 PREPARE for awesomeness:

I'll be there to check out kill team.

Bring some minis, and get some practice in :yourock:

Finally read through the kill team book, VERY solid and like Scott said, very much like 8th with a few minor tweaks. So looking forward to the league, been working through campaign arc, and hope you'll enjoy it!

It’s pretty much “8th Edition, But Better.”

But, to be fair, I’m extremely biased towards war games that feature less than 30-40 models per player. Add rules for lighter vehicles (e.g., Sentinels, Rhinos), add a couple more unit types (e.g., Terminators, Assault Marines) , and increase the point cap to 300-400 and you’d have my perfect iteration of WH40k.
