• Loota Spanner (Big Shoota) 10pts

Specialist

• Nob Boss (Demolitionist; Power Klaw, Kombi Skorcha) 18pts
• Kommando Nob Boss (Combat; Power Klaw) 16pts
• Burna Boy (Zealot) 12pts

Non Specialists:

• 2x Gretchin 6pts
• 4x Ork Boyz (Slugga & Choppa) 24pts
• 2x Ork Boy Gunner (Big Shoota) 14pts

I found that making a loota spanna a comms specialist was very helpful. The +1 to hit paired with a regular loota is pretty much the best shooting orcs can get in kill team. That and the dakka dakka dakka stratagem and you are shooting quite a few strength 7 shots and maybe actually hitting with them.

I tried shooty Orks, and it proved very sad. Now everything advances (and still shoots), since all 6's are auto hits. There is no 7's or anything. The only reason I don't have an Ork Boy as a leader, is he's not an option. Loota spanner was the cheapest solution shy of a gretchin (which is a possibility too, just hide him in the back out of sight, he'd never die). I just felt that was cowardly and gretchin leader...meh.

 

That said, demolishionist kombi skorcha was INSANE, combat power klaw is great too. If the burna actually assaults, zealot was good. I found comms just too expensive for bad shooting anyway (22pts for 2 bad shooting models). The only change I had list wise was instead of Boss Nob with Klaw, taking a big choppa and making the leader a real loota. However, that claw wounding on 2's (S10) really kills stuff!
