OFCC 2014 Tabletop Design Contest

Hello Ordo-ites! This year at our four day OFCC weekend, we have a Tabletop Design Contest.

Come one and come all! Do you have terrain at home? At the game store? Can your terrain be used to forge the grimmest, darkest narratives of the future? Can your terrain set the scene of battle for a hail of arrows and stampeding cavalry? Bring it down to the Lloyd Center for our weekend of gaming and show it off for the whole community to see!

We have a huge space this year and many, many events. If you have terrain that can make all of us wonder why it looks so cool, then you could be the winner of some fantastic prizes and the grand title of “Fabricator General”. You can build a table for these events:

  • Warhammer Fantasy Team Event
  • Warhammer 40k Team Event

Requirements:

  • All terrain must be fully painted
  • All terrain must be available until the event it was designed for is over.
  • Photos of each table must be submitted by September 15, 2014 for approval. Please send to tabletopcontest@ordofanaticus.com
  • We will provide the main table and/or playing surface at the venue so all you need to bring is the terrain itself.
  • It is not necessary to participate in any of the events to participate in the contest.
  • Table would need to be available on September 26, 2014 for setup before use in our team events

Clever idea, but man I feel bad for the drunken buffoon who knocks over the price table center piece.

That should not be happening. Completely sober buffoons such as myself will most likely be the cause of any table flipping.

In all seriousness, all the players there have profound respect for awesome terrain. It will show itself when the terrain is returned in the same condition it was delivered.

Plus evil_bryan is gonna have his repair kit with him.

I will just be extra careful. I love the idea as it will diversify tables even more. Wish I had time to paint enough terrain.
