scottshoemaker
I used to work right across from the Doubletree, so I figured I'd put this together really quick. It's not comprehensive but it should help giv an idea of the immediate area around the event. KMZ file for Google Earth users attached. Please feel free to expand.

Jayne_Cobbb
How about a brewery map, or at least some where where growlers are filled :)
scottshoemaker
You can't swing a dead cat in this town without hitting a brewpub. It'd be easier to google that. Nothing withing easy walking distance though. Food carts in this area of town are slim as well. Keep in mind that there is a metric ton of stuff with a 5 minute car ride though... Forgot to note the Safeway:

Murphy'sLawyer
Good Food and Good Beer? THIS. IS. PORTLAND! There will be no issues with that. Filling Growler though you may have to travel a little ways to Downtown, NE or SE. Lloyd District is not the best spot for that. (I live Downtown if anyone has any questions.) Jayne_Cobbb
What about a growler swap? I will bring some delicious beer from bellingham (Really good) and trade for a full growler of great portland beer... Any takers?

scottshoemaker
I totally forgot about the nearby Chipolte and Muchas Gracias. All this stuff is about 5-6 blocks NW of the hotel, but then so is everything else. Now if you have lots of time you can hop on the MAX (no longer free) and go to the downtown food carts. KMZ updated.

Romans832
Anyone like Ginger Ale? Did you know that Ginger Ale used to be alcoholic? A local brewer brews traditional, pre-Prohibition Ginger Ale. It has become so popular now that he's starting to bottle it! https://www.facebook.com/dr.alexanders Is there enough interest for me to pick up a growler of it tomorrow? People willing to throw in towards it? (IE I don't want to be stuck with it, I have other plans for my points this weekend)
Guest Mr. Bigglesworth
I will throw in I will likely need it to help settle the tummy
