WestRider
Getting ready to move results in some odd thoughts sometimes. I was putting away groceries and was suddenly struck by the fact that this is the last block of cheese I will ever bring into this apartment. 2

My friend was subleasing and kicked out roommates that weren't paying rent. They were kinda upset, so when they left, Easy Cheese had been sprayed all over the walls... Some places, I might do something like that, but I actually like my landlady. I've known her for almost 25 years, since I taught her kids karate while I was in high school.

Guest
Lazy is supposed to be a negative trait, but I've been being lazy lately and it's really quite pleasant. More people should aspire to be lazy.

More people should aspire to be lazy. Lazy is a hedonistic trait. Those tend to inspire very polarized opinions 😉

WestRider
1 hour ago, paxmiles said: I should look that one up. I tend to associate hedonism as a sexual thing. It's more general than that. "Pleasure-seeking", basically. Prioritizing things you enjoy. Like being lazy, perhaps.

Duckman
One possible antonym is ascetic. Basically the church frowns on hedonism so you can look at all the "restrained" or even "moderate" lifestyles as an antithetical approach. One of the main reasons society frowns on hedonism is that it generally (not always) is antisocial. 1

Sounds more like aging plus lasting injuries than XP as such. By the time you're 20th level, you're stuck in a wheelchair and can barely see where you're aiming that crossbow.
