I like it alot and I'm going to steal your psychic powers idea.  I like its simplicity.   

 

Here's what I'm thinking about for the Guardian Cup if I can get 5 more T-Wolves done.  What do you guys think?

 

1 Wolf Lord on T-Wolf with Claw/Hammer Runic 2+/4++ 

1 Wolf Priest on Bike

 

2x Iron Priests on Wolves

 

6x T-Wolves with 1 Wolf Claw, 1 Powerfist and the rest with shields/chainswords 

5x T-Wolves with 1 Powerfist, rest with shields/chainswords

 

LIB Conclave all ML2

1 with bike/axe

1 with Jumppack/sword

1 with Jumppack/stave

 

Blood Angels CAD

2x Sang priests on bikes

5x scouts cc weapon/BPs

5x scouts sniper rifles/camo cloaks

Gets you natural FNP on the unit with the Sang Priests and two units of TWC. Looks fun. We need to play. It'll be a slugfest in the middle. :)

I am significantly worried about not getting first turn, but I guess I'll go with it.

 

One thing I was thinking, if I get second turn, is that I can full reserve. Bring in the two pods and hide them bottom of 1. They probably die top of turn 2. I then have two rolls to not lose on bottom of turn 2 (third pod and the big blob). Same thing turn 3. But now that you cast after movement, I can still roll on and then invis depending on my opponent.

BA scouts are really lacking now that the other scouts were updated. BA tactical squad is awesome. Stock tactical squad with a heavy flamer and furious charge is not lacking.

 

The BA Combined Arms Detachment is really lacking unless you are just in dire need of objective secured units. Depending on your needs, the various BA strike force detachments can be really awesome. They also have a very wide selection of formations, some of which are potent, but most of which are just nice for the lack of other required models.

 

I will also note that there is a legal "unique" troops Death Company and troops Death Company Dreadnought, which can be very useful for filling required slots without buying useless models. That would be "raphen's death company" and "Cassor the damned". Both are more spendy than scouts, but also much more useful than BS3 scouts.

Okay, so the event:

 

- I was totally wrong about FNP. For some reason, and I thought I confirmed with someone else, that FNP worked against D in ITC. This is not true. First game, D-Scythes wrecked me because of this. This was against Jack's Scatter bikes, WK and two DS Wraithguard with Scythes. Ouchy. 6 to 5, his win.

- Second game, played against Dan's bully boys. Huge CC on turn one (like 2700 points) and I pulled out the win at the end.

- Third Game, played Joel's Daemonkin formation with extra attacks everytime something dies. Yeah, I totally underestimated his soulgrinders, split my Ironpriests off for a quick kill on two different soul grinders. Yeah... That didn't work out so well.
