What Andy is asking about is a 3500-12000 job. And I'm damn sure he doesn't have models for trade, that I would want to carry the equipment cost on to get. And before you ask, neither does pretre. As for the premise of what you are asking, are there workarounds? Sure. I could do the work, and not report income just as easily, and as legally as the trade you suggest. In the trades, when you are working for a company, and do a side job, that tends to be how it goes. The licensing has to do with liability should something happen. It protects both parties.

Rumor is the AoS total ticket sales in the past few days have jumped quite a bit...and we still don't have a Haiku recruitment for the event either ha ha!

For further consideration, pax: 10 supply Forced Air system with 1 return, no equipment is about 4k A single Gas Furnace or Air Conditioner or Heat Pump, 3-4k Single Head Mini Split System, 4k, adding 2500+ per additional head Sub-insulation on an average home, 3k That's also all retro fit. New Construction tends to pay 15-25% less due to the ease of installation. These numbers are industry standards/averages. Actual pricing may vary, based on things like Friends/Family discount, company overhead, pricing strategies, etc.

    Killteams!

I decided to throw some paint on models since its going to take a bit to finish the rest of the killteams. Changed up the Space Marine Killteam since I picked up a 3-pack of Reivers . Wow... When you get that close you can totally see the missed mold lines and the messed up wings on the regular sergeant. Anyways, Leader Intercessor Sergeant, Space Marine Sergeant and a Scout Gunner Heavy Specialist. Reiver Combat Specialist, Tac Marine Gunner Sniper Specialist and a Reiver Sergeant.

Speaking of ACs and Mini Splits. I can usually get "last years model" (read: discontinued) or "scratch and dents" (read: someone can't drive a forklift) for $500 to $1000 off. Pros: makes it more affordable! Cons: may not qualify for rebates(seer rating, etc); paint is scratched If the equipment were catastrophically damaged, they wouldn't be available for sale. They'd be dumped in the garbage and ransacked by the service guys looking for tiny components. It amazes me, the things I've seen distributors toss to the curb.

Forge World – Better Service, Faster Shipping The team at Forge World make some truly amazing models – from gargantuan monsters and renowned heroes right up to the towering god-machines of the Titan Legions. Until now, though, getting ahold of these miniatures outside of the UK has not always been easy. While the Forge World website has long provided a wide selection of models to choose from – payment options have been limited, and the only currency anything could be paid for in was British Pounds. Added to that, shipping times, especially in North America, were often pretty long – and we understand that that can be frustrating when you’re eager to add that game-winning unit or centrepiece kit to your collection as soon as possible. Well, good news – this is set to change – with two big improvements coming to Forge World later this August: Better Payment Options and Faster Shipping. You’ll soon be able to pay in your local currency, rather than having to use British Pounds. This is great news for anyone outside the UK, as it means you’ll be able to see far more easily what each item costs without having to run anything through a currency converter. And you won’t get hit with any surprise conversion fees that many banks will charge for shopping abroad. This also means that prices will be consistent instead of fluctuating with exchange rates – so that Primarch will cost you the same one day as the next. In addition, we’ll be expanding our payment options. Alongside the existing PayPal, credit and debit card payments – you’ll find new options for Discover in the US and American Express for US and Canadian shoppers, and a new ELV payment choice for customers in Germany and Austria, meaning that you have more options than ever on how to check out. And we have even bigger news for Forge World fans in the USA and Canada. As part of these service updates, we’ve been busy expanding our Forge World warehouse facility to the USA – Operation: Sector Munitorum Memphis. Soon, all Forge World orders to the US or Canada will ship out from our warehouse in Memphis, Tennessee. What this means for you is that we can fulfil your orders much, much faster than ever before. Instead of waiting weeks for transportation of your titanic transatlantic treats – you can expect your order in a matter of days! Decide you need a new unit in your army following a game at your weekly Age of Darkness gaming night? Order it up, and you could have it in your army by the following week!* With the expansion of our warehouses, we’ve also taken the opportunity to make improvements to all our shipping processes. So wherever you are in the world, your Forge World orders will soon be shipping out to you faster than ever – with many orders on their way to you within a matter of hours! All of these updates will be happening later this month. Keep an eye on the Forge World Facebook page and sign up the newsletter to be the first to know when the changes come into effect. In the meantime, the website will still be fully functional as we prepare for these changes to come into effect. *Admittedly, you’ll have to paint it pretty fast when it arrives…

    Kill team league?

So I'm probably going to get back into 40k, against my better judgement (I need a little bit of a break from Infinity for a bit, need something a bit more beer-and-pretzels for a while) and Kill Team seems like a good way to do that. I have a plan for how I'd like to go about it all, but without an actual league I could play in on a regular, reliable basis, I don't want to shell out the money for it. A couple of the FLGSs I hang out at are running the leagues, but they're on nights I'm unavailable, damn their eyes. Are there any plans for Ordo to be running such a thing? I'd imagine it'd be after OFCC, which would give me time to build up my team anyway, but it'd be nice to play if I can find a reliable place to do so.

    Adeptus Titanicus Rumors

Adeptus Titanicus and The Horus Heresy Adeptus Titanicus and the Horus Heresy have a long and intertwined history. Though the Heresy was first mentioned in the original Warhammer 40,000 rulebook in 1987, it was the following year that Adeptus Titanicus expanded on it and introduced the core of the background you know and love – all as a way to explain battles between two armies of Imperial Titans! But what is a Titan, exactly? Magos Historicus Xathar-Kul is on hand to provide us with a brief primer… Thirty years later, the new edition of Adeptus Titanicus is returning to the Horus Heresy, once again bringing titanic warfare back to the forefront – and it’s all been done in conjunction with Black Library and Forge World’s Horus Heresy series. When it was determined that Adeptus Titanicus would be getting a new edition, the Specialist Brands team set to work on figuring out how it would fit into the background. It was clear that there was scope in the existing story for massive clashes between Titan Legions – the Betrayal at Calth and the Battle of Tallarn to name just two. There was also an opportunity to add new elements to the timelines of the Horus Heresy – including something unique and cataclysmic that would also explain why the Titan Legions of the 41st Millennium are both smaller and rarer than during the Great Crusade. And so the Great Slaughter at Beta-Garmon and the Titandeath were born. References to Beta-Garmon were seeded into Forge World’s Horus Heresy series, establishing it as a major cluster of worlds on the path to Terra – a natural stopping point for Horus’ forces before the final battle – and across a variety of Black Library’s Horus Heresy stories, its importance was further emphasised. In Gav Thorpe’s Weregeld (in the Corax anthology), the Raven Guard primarch found out about the Imperial muster at Beta-Garmon – a thread followed up in the audio drama Valerius. Guy Haley’s short story Duty Waits referenced some of the immense battles on that world. And in Wolfsbane, also by Guy, we finally found out the Imperium’s plan for holding and bloodying the traitor forces there. That all leads to Guy’s latest Horus Heresy novel, Titandeath, coming this December, which will be essential reading for all Adeptus Titanicus players, giving unparalleled insights into the battles at Beta-Garmon. We asked Guy about the creative process behind Titandeath, and he was only too happy to answer. Guy: One of my favourite aspects of this job is getting to work with other people. I started my professional life as part of a small, creative team, eventually coming to run one in the shape of White Dwarf. Times change. As an author, I work alone, like an aelf wanderer, or a sad lost grot. The flexibility writing gives to my life is beyond worth, but I do hanker after collaboration with others, and when I wrote Titandeath, I got that in spades! From the beginning, the links between Adeptus Titanicus and Titandeath were strong. Andy Hoare and Owen Barnes placed the game firmly in the Horus Heresy, just like the original. However, nowadays the Heresy era is a vast and detailed setting. As they were working on various war zones and histories of the period, I was writing a book detailing Beta-Garmon, the location of the largest Titan-on-Titan battles ever. It was natural, nay obvious, that we should put our heads together. As I planned my novel, Andy and Owen kept up a steady stream of information coming to me. Throughout the process we talked often, thrashing out details, working out who was where, when and why. They were nothing but gracious with their toys, incorporating many of my ideas into their background for the Beta-Garmon war zone, and tweaking bits to suit the story I wanted to tell. When creative people work together like this, the result is always stronger than an individual effort. The result is a Horus Heresy novel more firmly embedded in the gaming side of things than ever before, one that was an absolute pleasure for me to write. Whether you want to set your games of Adeptus Titanicus during the heart of the Titandeath, or elsewhere in the Horus Heresy timeline, the Adeptus Titanicus rulebook has plenty of story hooks and ideas, as well as narrative scenarios set on Beta-Garmon, Molech and other familiar worlds from the novel series – including Mars itself. The setting also allows you to customise your Titan Legion and accompanying Knight Houses to your tastes – will you support Horus or remain loyal to the Emperor? Will you and your friends collect different Legios or stage a civil war amongst one? The possibilities are endless – and the Horus Heresy novel series is a great place to look for ideas.

they are my favorite standard in the game(usually bring 2)! fun tactics: hold it back to triagulate fire something annoying. sometimes ill move it up to get shot, bring it back later in the game when people forget about it and triagulate fire something thats really dug down(like a TO model in suppressive or a sniper) also, sat lock is hilarious... i mean i only ever do it if i bring an EVO but its pretty awesome!

Baking soda also works. Can be sprinkled on the moss dry, or dissolved in water and sprayed/slopped on. Regardless of which chemical or application method, note that it will kill the moss, but not actually remove it, and it'll still be up there soaking up moisture and setting up leaks. But once you've used the baking soda or whatever and let it work for a while (think days, not hours), it's pretty easy to clear it off with a broom or something.

This might well be part of what was behind trimming down the FW product line. I could see them wanting to simplify that if they've got multiple locations to keep stocked. Also, I have to say, I haven't noticed that much difference in the free shipping speeds between stuff coming from Nottingham and stuff coming from Memphis. Mostly that seems to have to do with FedEx "Smart"Post doing things like getting my package up to Tacoma before sending it back down to the Oregon facility it just came from, and then back up to me, while stuff from FW just went plain USPS once it made it in country. It will be nice to have a lower minimum to get free shipping, tho. This makes those Necromunda weapon packs way more viable as options.

You may know by now that Ordo Bowl can't leave well enough alone...which is why we will once again produce an event one-pager for Ordo Bowl II: Southstorm Slaughter! These card pages are a great resource during the event, and even after. Side one is specific to Southstorm Slaughter, with schedule, rules, FAQ, awards and so on...side two is a great 'take back' for your leagues at home! Designed by our pal Raven, these one pagers are more convenient than referencing the book(s) or asking the organizers. Check them out, and come to Ordo Bowl to get yours! 🦑 Ordo Bowl II: Southstorm Slaughter at the OFCC 8/25-8/26 2018 🦑 http://www.ordofanaticus.com/store/category/6-ordo-bowl-ii-southstorm-slaughter/
