  7. Yes, they are! You have to discover them first.
  8. Game Three was against JUstin and his NCA. I had played Justin once before at Fate and Fury. At that time, he had never played Haqq before. The mission was firefight. Justin won WIP and pick side and deployment. I had him go first. Justin had a Swiss HMG, an Uhlan, a Fussiler team, a mechanic, a locust, and a total reaction bot. Passing his infiltration roll, Justin put his Locust up to the edge of my zone. Justin advanced the Locust to take out my holoprojecting Halza. The Hafza got lucky. He danced away or made armor save. The Fasid also could react and finally downed the Locust. Then, Justin advanced to good firelanes and put his fussier HMG is suppressive fire. I ran up my Djanbazan doctor up the left flank to get to a Panoply. The Tuareg on a building top uncloaked, dropped a mine, opened a panoply, and recloaked. Finally, the Fasid moved out of Suppresive range and downed the Fussiler HMG. The Uhlan moved to my Hawwa token. I uncloaked and laid a mine. The Uhlan killed the Hawwa, but lost a wound to the mine. On my turn the Djanbazan doctor went on a Rambo. He shot up everybody but the LT in the Fussiler team. as he made it to the panoply, he went down to a lucky shot from the machinist. I forgot until just now, that he has regeneration and could have got back up........ the Fasid got into a Fight with the Uhlan and dropped another wound on the beast with a crit. On his last turn, Justin advanced his Swiss farther. I gave it a wound, but could not take it down. On my last turn, I dropped the Uhlan and stupidly sac rive do my LT to try to take the last wound off the Swiss. The cost me the big win. I won 5-2. Sparing the LT, it would have been 5-0. Overall, I took third. That is a record for me. The limited insertion game go fast. It was a nice chance. Oh, and I bought a Taskmaster, Kargot Renegade, and a Fasid Feuerbach at the store. Win!
  9. Game Two was against Stephen. He had Kornak with a haris link, a Rodak team, a Zerat, and a few other bits. It was a nice list. I poured fire into and it I did little. Stephan had better luck. He made lots of saves and had good dice. My Taureg sniper had a shot on Karnak. He need I needed a 14 and rolled a 13. He needed a two to crit and did. That turned the game. The Tauereg was in a dominating spot. I got pinned back and could not hold the Safe Areas. Stephen advanced to take quadrants. I used my intel comm card to negate his specialist. He won 5-0. I had a slight edge on victory points. I had a blast playing the game.
  10. I played three great games today at Glimpses. My first games was against Scott. I have not met Scott until today, but he is one of the Fate and Fury crowd. Scott is a Bahm player he had two fine lists with plenty of tricks. I like them both and thought I would be fighting uphill. He had a Fiday, a Farzan minelayer, a Barid LT, an Ayyar, a Asiwira haris link, and a Lasiq (duo). He went first. The Friday failed to throw smoke and went down. His special character tried to throw smoke to cover a supplies box, but he couldn't. Scott had some really terrible rolls. Then, brought he brought up his duo to cover the fire lanes on his flank. On my turn, I rambo'd my Bashi. I came in from behind and blasted the duo with a boarding shotgun. He tried to open a supplies box, but failed and took rounds from the Farzan I had forgotten about. The Bashi lived and took out the Farzan. Scott brought up the Special Character again to grab the box, but he went down. The Azri'al and Bashi took out the Ayyar's holos as the Baird advanced to plant a pitcher so he could try to spot light the Bashi. My Sekban raced up and grabbed a box and brought the contents back to my line. The Azri'al took down the Ayyar and Bashi went after the Baird and knocked him down. Scott was in retreat for turn three and in loss of LT. Religious troops do not retreat and Scott quickly used command tokens to make his order for the Asawira haris regular. The Muyib went down in a firefight. I secured my classified for the 10-0 win.
  11. Thank you Adam for a great day. Six Players: 3 CA, 2 Haqq, on Pan-O Adam took first with CA Stephen took 2nd with CA. Morats I took third with Vanilla Haqq Cody took fourth with Morats Justin took 5th with NeoC Scott took last with Bam.
  12. The over-all taupe is done and the model is washed. Now, I need the second main color (for the AP HMG) and all the small second area (red and green). I am leaning towards red for the bases and maybe dubbing my force, the Red Corsairs.
  13. I have been painting a bit on and off during the day. There is lots of slow layering.
  14. The taupe-brown armor looks good in the test patch. I will take a photo later tonight
  15. Ogre Seth will be there to hand and maybe play!
  16. Meh. I started painting the Azri'al tonight. I went for the base first. Thinking a camo green would be a good color, I finished it complete with highlights. It's a failure to me. I wanted something away from the typical gray. It does not look right. I decided on a desert camo color for the model. I am sure the green does go well. When I am done with the model, I need to redo the base. Maybe blue?
