  1. Thanks for the tag, pretre! I have a ton of confrontation cynwall elves: enough to make multiple Warhammer infantry units. Want me to dig them up and find it exactly how much of what? I also have several extra malifaux figures in neverborn, arcanists and Gremlins.
  2. How'd this go? I am in a similar boat: lots to sell, not enough time to sell it.
  3. Holy smokes! What did Matt play that he had that monster diff?
  4. Sadly, I'm not going to be able to make it either :( I really hope everyone has a blast! I'll miss seeing you all! Godswearhats, consider my ticket a donation to the cause!
  5. We got started late, so Nathan had to bail before the final round, which was a bummer. The event was fun. I ended up squeaking out the win for strategist by +1 on the VPDiff. My first two games were victories with Mah Tucket. For game 3, I went cheesy and pulled out Zoraida. However, my opponent completely punished me for it by playing a master I didn't know (Reva) and pulling off a maneuver I didn't see hidden in her triggers. He also knew exactly how to play against my crew, so didn't make any of the normal mistakes opponents make the first few times vs. Zoraida. In otherwords, I was outplanned, outplayed, and even outflipped. However, due to time running out, it was a draw (Flank deployment, so Zoraida can score 3 Undercover Entourage points in a single activation. Ironically, I think Mah Tucket's crew would've been serious trouble for Reva, so if I'd just stayed the course and played the same crew, I think my round 3 opponent would have been in for a very uphill battle. Sadly, my final round opponent, who pretty much deserved the win, got fourth because of some other "shouldn't have happened" stuff that put others ahead of him. For example, the "second to last round" call got skipped one round, meaning Nathan boxed his take prisoner target literally 30 seconds before "last round" was called, handing over the win to his opponent (who then got second place).
  6. Guild got awesome stuff too
  7. Neverborn general upgrade. All the factions now have an upgrade on the level of oath keeper, it seems.
  8. I should rephrase :) My source for the rules of Malifaux Provides is somewhat imperfect. Is "any scheme marker" correct?
  9. Am I correct that malifaux provides lets you discard enemy scheme markers? Wtf?
  10. Awesome, VV. I may hit you up for the details on a specific model, if you don't mind!
  11. I literally want just one card from that book, and can't stomach the $45 for just one model's rules. If anyone here is getting it and would let me read it, it would save me a nice chunk of $$!
  12. Ah, gotcha! It's definitely not a deal-breaker of any kind, nor do I mean to come off negative. I've been a TO many times, and will totally understand if you basically ignore me ;)
  13. Very cool! I do have one request, however: Can one of either Interference or Reconnoiter be dropped? Two quarters strats in a single event is a ton of mental burden, and likely to lead to a lot of tedious games. Watching the opposing summoner player solve the puzzle at the end of each turn isn't fun for the non-summoner. Playing Dreamer, I can easily summon and move a model out 13-14" with each AP, not to mention Chompy. Then I have daydream pushes and Lilitu/Doppel lures. The "decision tree" is insane, and involves very little actual player interaction unless we're both summoners, in which case good luck to us in getting past turn 3.
  14. Was fun! Everyone was super nice, and there was quite a lot of strong play going on. Romes and I had a crazy game to determine the TP winner. Came down 10-9 in his favor! I knew that if we tied 10-10, I'd win the event due to my insane Pandora win-diffs (10-0, 10-1, 7-3), so I went with what I thought was the safe route and played Lilith. Turned out that Ramos denies Exhaust Their Forces like a boss :) Treats me right for chickening out and not giving Romes the Pandora rematch he deserves! I didn't get the luxury to play the eventual sportsmanship winner, and can't remember his name, but I know the sports scores were very close. I got best painted for my Neverborn, which came with a massive brush for me to paint terrain with :)
  15. All paid up! Who is playing what? With the small player base, I want to be sure we have variety. I have my NBorns all ready to go, and am close on my Arcanists and Grimlambs. My preference would be my Grimlambs, even though I have only a few games with them under my belt (so fun!). But if we have something like 40% Gremlins already, I could bring my other stuff.
  16. BTW, I had another vacation conflict, or I would've put forth considerable effort to be there :) Have a great time, everyone! I'm jelly!
  17. So how many committed players do we need by when for this to be a sure thing? I haven't bought my ticket yet because of pants. But once I find my pants, I'm in!
  18. "Two Brothers" That whole episode was just brilliant. They have just enough poignant stuff in there to keep it from pure absurdity and make it so that you can give a crap about the characters. From a "oh my god, they did that" point of view, my favorite so far is the Cronenberg episode and that they didn't actually do a real reset!
  19. Holy crap! Blustorm told me I'd like it, but I didn't realize quite how perfectly insane it would be :) The opening sequence of that first episode is unreal Drunk History + Mad Scientist Grandpa! It's brilliant! Does it keep up as strong as the first couple episodes? Cause if so, move over, Archer!
  20. I unapologetically talk to myself, and even encourage my daughters to do so :) Not only does it help you keep your thoughts ordered, but it also allows you to get awesome prescriptions!
