  1. Over the next few weeks I'm thinning out several unbuilt FoW minis. Running thread in the Rogue Trading forum
  2. I'd picked up a Catacombs box but may end up not needing it (game has shifted locally). Pretty much brand new just out of the shrinkwrap.
  3. Just a heads up, these end in 24 hours. I'll have additional lots coming over the next few weeks (starting with FoW German and Italian).
  4. All of the items are now sold. I want to thank the Ordo community and all of those who came over and purchased items in my auctions. I was not only able to get that Ibanez (which won't arrive for another month or so), but some other fun stuff as well! You guys absolutely rock!!!! 👍
  5. The Medusa ammo has fins though, so just using brass wouldn't work - though I may try that next time I need basilisk ammo as I do have a reloading jig.
  6. Unfortunately I can't use 3rd party on this because I enter too many official painting competitions... otherwise I'd have gone to Victoria pretty quickly... 😄
  7. I'm just about to finish up a very old Imperial Armour (pre-Forgeworld) Medusa kit and I'd love to get a few rounds of Medusa ammo for the rear firing platform. I know you can get some if you buy the Medusa carriage artillery piece from Forgeworld, but I am not looking to build a lot of towed artillery at this point. Does anyone have a few loose rounds or one of the ammo boxes they'd be willing to part with? I've got money!
  8. My participation in FoW / TY has been way down, but that being said I'm hoping to finish painting my East Germans for when the Pandemic is over, and I'm messing around with some Soviets as well. I also have some Israelis for Oil War and FoaN, but they're a ways away from being ready to go.
  9. Actually the bottom layer has posterboard over the wood... 😉 Now we're not going to talk about the lack of covering on some of the electronics in the back. Will have to pick that up later... 😄
  10. Armies on Parade 2020 entry finally together (as much as it is going to be) and in. It tells the story of the simultaneous Cult uprising across the surface of Hive World Novgorod. I was largely inspired by the amazing dioramas at Warhammer World which we got to visit pre-COVID in the summer of 2019. This one would have been a lot more fun to have in the store where people could pour over the details and see all of the little stories, but this is the hand we've been dealt this year. More photos and full write-up at the blog: http://miniordnancerev.blogspot.com/2020/11/armies-on-parade-2020-fall-of-hive.html
  11. Indeed... I actually have to store the turret in a separate battlefoam tray from the hull... of course, that's true for any of the resin turrets as they'd fall off otherwise, but there you have it...
  12. How about a Gryphonne pattern Russ Vanquisher??? More at the blog: http://miniordnancerev.blogspot.com/2020/09/new-cult-russ-gryphonne-pattern.html
  13. Yes - it only has the one sponson because it has the... well... some sort of power supply for the neutron laser on the other side. Part of the reason I liked this thing so much was the complete asymmetry of the vehicle.
  14. Just finished up a Valdor tank hunter... This thing was a real beast to get together, but the end result is awesome. More at the blog: https://miniordnancerev.blogspot.com/2020/08/doin-neutron-dance-cult-has-valdor.html
  15. Top of the fuel tank is blown off, along with the top hatch... 😉
  16. How about a wrecked Goliath for my Armies on Parade display? En fuego! More at the blog: https://miniordnancerev.blogspot.com/2020/07/armies-on-parade-wrecked-goliath-and-how.html
  17. The industrious cultists down at the motor pool have managed to stea... errrr, requisition a brand new unit for my Astra Militarum Brood Brothers detachment - a Deathstrike! I'm looking forward to seeing how the rules for this beastie change in 9th edition, but my Master of Ordnance has already given it the thumbs up. More at the blog: http://miniordnancerev.blogspot.com/2020/07/the-cult-goes-ballistic-deathstrike.html
  18. I start with a dot of oil paint - usually oilbrusher from Ammo of Mig. Then I have a flat brush with some thinner in it I use to actually streak the paint. I occasionally do some dot oil filters as well before I go through with the rust, dirt, whatever streaks...
  19. Oh I remember them... didn't do GSC back in the day, but I remember them. The old list was very niche, but could be a lot of fun, especially if you went wild with the psykers... 😄
  20. Finally got the first five of my Atalan Jackals together and painted. By the Four-Armed Emperor these are some of the tickiest miniatures I've ever painted / put together. So many little details. Glad I'm only planning a unit of 10 of these. You guys running swarms of these - I salute you!More at the blog: https://miniordnancerev.blogspot.com/2020/06/atalan-jackals-mad-max-for-genestealer.html
  21. Do you want more long range firepower? Sure, we all do! The guys down at the motor pool just returned this beauty to service. Comes with all the latest amenities - heavy stubber, heavy bolter, extra ammunition, and a spare fuel tank!More at the blog: http://miniordnancerev.blogspot.com/2020/06/brood-brother-basilisk-no-chamber-of.html
  22. Hail Hydra! No really - just got a Hydra Flak Tank painted up... turret on this was a bit of a pain, but I like how it came out. More at the blog: https://miniordnancerev.blogspot.com/2020/05/hail-hydra-anti-air-support-for-brood.html
