My last 3 Google searches:
"Separating into eighths"
"Is there a verb for separating into eighths?"
"4 is to quartered as 8 is to" (particularly proud of that one)
Now I know, what you might be thinking, and no! I'm trying to come up with a particularly poetical way to describe a gruesome death at the tentacles of a kraken for for the purpose of hockey-based [big bad swear word] talk.
Anyone help a fella out?
Yes! So I googled a bit too and found this from a random internet source (January 2014)
"I just did a crossword puzzle and the answer to the clue "many a pizza slice" was "octant".
I find this definition via google:
an arc of a circle equal to one eighth of its circumference, or the area enclosed by such an arc with two radii of the circle. [Note: this justifies the pizza slice answer.]
each of eight parts into which a space or solid body is divided by three planes that intersect (especially at right angles) at a single point."Researching further now... Nevermind giving up on this mathematical rabbit hole, it is far too late for this with work in the morning.

Just wondering, how many folks have watched the movie (based on a true story), "Idiocracy"... 🤨
Saw a Camacho for president window sticker recently.

It isn't much like 5 bucks and yes you can reserve.
They started a Patreon about the same time so you can do a monthly thing instead. It is a massive discount over reserving every week. They ended the automatic 20% off for ordering but include it in the Patreon tier.
Also if you are doing events and stuff no real change in costs.
As far as my opinion it adds a barrier to weekly public gaming that I really didn't need as I'm more and more prone to staying home in general...

I want necromunda to be a thing and I've seen some Malifaux stuff taking off. Best of luck with the Saga! If there gets to be some age of magic stuff rolling I still have my night goblins...

Covid-19 didn't kill the club various changes and life events kinda did.
Dark tower is still doing somethings.
I'm playing Malifaux and raising a daughter.
Munkie is around playing 40k.
There are some pesky work schedules and battle tech.
The loss of fantasy battle really broke the core and while we limped along a bit, it's been crumbling for awhile.

Wanna shoot me some deets? Is there anyone there that kind of mentors newer players?
Done they are mid second season. I don't vassal but we used the discord for organizing for events too.

@Fixxer I'm pretty new to Malifaux but really liking it so far, even though I'm sure I'm terrible. Is your online league fairly noob-friendly? My tactics could use some work but I'd be down to join & hopefully get better at the game. I have Vassal & all that good to go.
Pretty sure it has some newer players. We've got a good friendly discord for it.

Wonderwoman 1984:
This is a very, very bad movie.
There is very little action and none of it is good. The emotional punch of the movie is almost entirely reliant on child actors who are not good.
The plot is incoherent. Pedro Pascal (who is usually great) plays an absurd, entirely over the top character. Chris Pine is back for no reason whatsoever.
Bad script, poor acting, and boring as all get out. Kristen Wigg turns into Rum Tum Tugger for some reason and that's supposed to be scary.
I'd tell you not to bother, be we both know you will anyway. It's bad.
HBO max was misbehaving today preventing us from watching it. Thank you for making the decision to go to bed instead of trying again!
Watched Netflix Sleepover instead slap stick coming of age dealing with parents movie. Really fun great humor actors and actresses are great in the roles. Played just seriously enough but crazy over the top, excellent if that's your cup of tea.

Hello there,
I have a few small piles of miniatures/bits if anyone wants them. Just let me know what you want and PM me a shipping address and I'll send em. No charge, I figure I'd ask here before I toss em. If you need pics let me know where I can send em via phone.
Caveat: I am destashing so no clue where these came from, but probably from old army purchases/lots or whatnot. I didn't build em, didn't paint em and make no claims. But they're free
1. (6) night goblin fanatics (the ball and chain guys)
2. (13) night goblins or goblins... many missing arms, hands, etc.
3. (15) black orcs... many missing arms, legs, etc. These are the armored fantasy ones with helmets and everything
4. (9) Catachan jungle fighters + (1) leader with power fist + (3) snipers
Stay safe,
don
Hello there sir!
I'd love those fanatics and catachans.

Hey @Fixxer, are you still doing demos on Vassal? There are a bunch of us interested in seeing it in action. Message me if you're interested!
Oh they are!

I can still rollerblade/ice skate impressively. Given I played hockey for about a decade it shouldn't be surprising.
Everytime I lace up it is wonderful.🥺

Where does it say they can't take those units?
Haven't gotten the new book yet but regardless of if they can or can't you don't want to. If you want standard squads don't deathwatch.
If you deathwatch you take the kill teams and veterans. As for buying boxes you can buy any of those power armors and use them as the stuff you want. Devastators box physical purchase is a veterans squad when building the list.

Correct to the above.
That "glue" is a solvent and it is awesome! Many say you can make a gap filling version by dropping sprues into the bit left at the end but I've preferred to just force very small amounts of green stuff in or slices of sprue and then let the solvent work to marry the sprue sliver to the rest.

Whoa, that is serious hardware! Very cool.
I have not had issues waiting for drying, though I also tend to paint several minis at once so by the time I finish the last one, the first one is dry. When doing a single mini, I also usually have something else cooking, like a conversion I'm working on. So I trade greenstuff drying time with Contrast drying time... Ha, typing this out made me realize that's what I've been doing to kill the time. Subconscious efficiency! 😆
I linked the cheaper one... So that it fit the dining room aesthetic better I've actually got the big one...
It is super nice I've been using greenstuff world texture rollers with air dry clay, glazes, perfect clear glue on translucent plastic among other things. I've found more and more reasons to use it since I've got it.

I added a drying booth to my hobby area. It was focused on contrast but has been helpful for all kinds of hobby things. Greenstuff sculpting, basing and glueing in general

It is tied to the little icons on your post like laugh whatever it all gets you a rep point.

I have never tried Vassal. Is it easy to use?
Yeah what I've seen of it makes it arguably easier to use than a real table top.
It is different, I don't play as I spend all work day in front of a computer so I do not remain there for leisure.
