  1. Oh, yeah, you're on Mountain time aren't you. Yeah, I was thinking Pacific time. See you on the pitch!
  2. Saturday is good. Preferably in the evening. Say, 8?

    Sad News

Ouch, that's sad news indeed. He's been a great part of the Seattle GW community for as long as I can remember.
  4. Maybe the real monsters were the friends we made along the way
  5. Oops. Send me a PM next time (this evening?). Those ping my email even if I haven't been on Ordo.
  6. On their twitter, they said it was a joke that got out of hand.
  7. Evenings are generally best for me as well. I've got a WUO league match tonight, but tomorrow evening should be free.
  8. GG, @SigurdBC! I would say I think I'm starting to get the hang of this game, but I think it had more to do with the fact that your block dice were pretty terrible to you. Also, The Blodging Sidesteppers is the name of my Brit-style Ska-Punk band 😉
  9. In BattleTech, House Liao should have a singing group called the A Capellan Confederation.
  10. Ticket and no concessions rule accepted!
  11. Sinister: This is another in the category of "Not particularly original*, but undeniably effective". I think one of the things that really makes it work is that much of the movie consists of Ethan Hawke sitting in a dark room watching videos of horrible murders being committed, apparently by someone from a black metal band, while the situation gets creepier and creepier around him, and that's also essentially what someone watching the movie is generally doing, so it adds an extra bit of immersion. *It's basically a crossover between the "arrogant dude who always says everything's fine" (e.g. Amityville Horror) and "creepy children" (e.g. The Ring) subgenres. Pet Sematary occupies a similar space, genre-wise.
  12. I've seen plenty of people use Skaven with AdMech gun arms, so they seem like they should be a decent fit. I know the AdMech and IG ones are compatible.
  13. The Perfection: Very dark and intense. Also wonderfully gay. Altho I did like it, I think I would have preferred a romcom that started out the same for like 25 minutes or so, but then turned into wacky hijinks rather than horror.
  14. Devil's Gate: Rather more complex and better than I was expecting. Reminded me a little of some of the better parts of Dark Light. Great atmospherics and aesthetics, and some cool design on the demons/aliens/whatevers. Acting is hit or miss, with one of the most important roles being pretty weak. Also, wow, Jonathon Frakes has not aged too well.
  15. Ghostwatch: That was creepy as hell even knowing that it was fiction. I'm not surprised it caused a panic when it was aired on the BBC and presented as an actual report.
  16. Oh, ugh. Google, what is the point of your photo hosting service if I can't share from it? https://photos.app.goo.gl/GtFDwPj1LbTAtfjFA OK, looks like I can't embed from there, but that link should take you to the pic.
  17. Someone treated their cat's fungal infection with turmeric. It worked, but there was a side effect :3
  18. I've been painting a bunch, but failing at taking photos and posting. But I had to share Drukharli Quinn:
  19. Yep! I'm like 300 miles away from everyone else here, so it's great for me for similar reasons. Arrange games with your opponent for the round whenever they work for you both. Speaking of which, I'm back with the Tlaxtlan Panthers again. Maybe I'll actually manage to win a couple of games this time around!
