It's very hit or miss, but I do love the bat$#!^ insane, "what laws of physics?" creativity Citadel had back then.

I think a lot of that comes from the paints we use not actually being the chromatic ideals that colour theory is based on. So we're getting something that's a bit off from the actual opposite, leading to an effect that's more or less the visual equivalent to hitting a tritone when you want a perfect fifth.

Shoulda used Careless Whisper I suspect there were a number of reasons. This is absolutely valid. It also simplifies game development, since there are fewer options that need to be examined/tested for broken combos. Further, it lines up with the Squad structure FW use for 30K, which probably has some potential benefits.

I honestly can't remember what my cash reserve was before that, but I got an MVP, so I'm fine with the result. Also, looking at my Block dice, just wow. Almost as many Skulls as Pushes, nearly twice as many as Pows. 😧

2nd Ed was actually pretty great straight out of the box, too. That seems to be the general pattern with GW.
