Since February is still 4 months away, that's plenty of time to re-adjust, so I voted for it. Tanksgiving on the other hand is less than a month away so don't screw with that one.

Upgrading my US tank company from 1650 to 1900 is a matter of adding 5x veteran stuarts. Or. Upgrading a Desperate Measures Heavy tank company would mean adding 1x King Tiger. It seems like 1900 is a crap ton of points but it's more like adding just 1 more platoon. Though Heavy Tank companies always do better in the higher point ranges due to getting more support to keep the heavies alive.

I would like to see the 1390 EW points being used but it looks like everybody else is already set on the 1550. Oh well. I'll still bring my Chars and Bolo can still use the Fallschirmjager w/ Luftlandsturm, he'll need to read up on the glider assault rules.

Well, its 6:45pm now. Just got back from working on the coast. Traffic was just a snarl from Newburg all the way to Lloyd center. It's a good thing I checked to see if anybody was going to GG tonight. Everybody has bowed out for one reason or another. Now I can try to get home and unwind.

OOOOOOOOeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!! We gotta do tournaments with the points levels for Mid-war and especially Late-war. I'm all for Mid-War March and Late-War April!!!!! I can just see Fing drooling over the 1900 point levels for his Heavy Panzer companies.

hmmmm. Since you love Heavy tank companies, I would suggest British Matilda, French Char B, Russian KV, or Russian T35.

Usually, Lazarus and/or I are there. Though my job likes to send me out of town at times like all of last week. It's always good to post your interest in particular game nights so others can schedule it in.

If you can show up to Guardian Games on Thursday, Lazarus & I are usually there around 5:30 ish.

So, if you were to thin down that Brown, what steps would you first do. In this common situation for me, I 'm just trying to figure which direction to go. For example, I know that 'spidering' is paint that is way too watered down.

Ok, you see how the brown is splotchy? Well, that's where I'm at and trying to figure out how to get a smoother spray. I don't know if I need a higher quality airbrush or if I need to fiddle some more with the settings on my current airbrush, or if I have to fine tune the thinning of the paint.

If you want Infantry and Artillery, LateWar US is the best option. In LateWar, the US infantry can get veteran ratings, especially helpful for running artillery. And the US special rules for artillery are the best. Also, US has spotter planes, again helpful for the artillery. There is a downloadable pdf of US infantry companies on Dday. That can get you started looking at stuff without buying books till you find what piques your interest.

I am getting the hang of things. Now I'm just trying to find good set of paints for Green and Brown. I have 'Field Green' of the Valejo Air line, I just need to find a lighter tone that will compliment the 'Field Green' and also the brown I use (I think it's camo med brown). I am trying to stick with the Valejo Air line & learning 1 step at a time. Also, I may be closer to the stage where I need to plan about a higher quality airbrush. The standard one that came with my compressor is good to learn on (it does have double action) but I am trying to work towards finer detail.

Flames is my primary, but I also like to play Civil War, and Napoleonics. Along with Wings of Glory and Sails of Glory. Would be nice if there was something on a Saturday or even a Sunday schedule as the weekdays don't bring out much on attendance.

I already got my haul earlier, good thing.

I'm running US tank. I have enough American Tanks to run at least 3-4 good companies. I may concentrate my hobby into the true US tanker and complete out the collection of every available option.
