    Looks like Indexhammer is getting an update in the form the 10th edition! Excited to see how it looks after the refresh, even if I don't currently have any plays to pick up any books past the new Indices.

    Had a great turnout this weekend for March to War 6! 26 players playing 9th Age, was an awesome time with some beautiful armies to behold! Thank you so much to Ordo for providing mats and terrain, and thanks again to Gongaii Games for hosting us! Looking forward to next year!

    I ordered a bunch of Vampire Counts from Excellent Minis. Prints had awesome detail and were printed with a super durable resin. Only complaint would be that they shipped still attached to the supports, which took a bit of time to remove

    "Artillery Line of Sight : Woods, Hills and Build-Up Areas block line of sight to artillery positioned on a hill." There is some weird issue with the rulebook, this rule is actually hidden behind a picture on page 79. They had to redo the rulebook recently to take out GW images, so this must have happened then. I'll ask around and see if it's being addressed.

    I find that company support is largely overrated, but that's just my opinion. I love new models as much as the next person, but "GW support" seems to mean FOMO box sets and buying book after book these days. Totally happy to play community run versions of these games instead.

    I mean, I guess I'm pretty excited about going back to an Indexhammer state. I kinda feel I keep giving 40K chances and GW keeps letting me down, lol. But I got my models, so I can always play some Indexhammer (8th or 10th apparently) or OPR, and between 9th Age and wanting to spend time with Underworlds / Warcry / Epic Armageddon / Warmaster I've got more than enough mini games to keep me busy.

    Looks like you are probably using the "Warmaster Armies" tab instead of the "Warmaster Revolution" tab 🙂

    Not sure how much I would be able to "fully" commit to something at OFCC, since I'll be playing in the 9th Age event (if there is one), but I would be down to try and get some sort of match for Epic and/or Warmaster, and would be interested in checking out BFG as well, a game I'm curious about 🙂

    Ok, plan is to open up the club at 10am and close it at 10pm, or until everyone wants to go home! I'll try to have an extra army on hand if anyone wants a demo game 🙂

    Hello all! Happy to announce that we're going to be having a 9th Age open game day on Saturday, February the 18th at the Ordo Fanaticus clubhouse! Exact times to be determined, but planning on starting early and ending late. Get some March to War practice, get in a learning game, or just come on down to observe!

    Nice! Let me know if you'd like to get a game in. I'm normally good for Sunday at Ordo (though not this Sunday, my kid's friend is having his birthday party), or I can usually make a Saturday work. I'm in Vancouver, but totally down to come to Portland 🙂 EDIT: Looks like I actually have a game lined up for Saturday, but happy to schedule something for an upcoming weekend!

    Oh duh, I guess they did have an 8th ed codex, huh? lol. Yeah, I would be fine playing against that. I would say to keep in consistent with the Index armies, you would have to cut out some of the stuff that the Index armies don't have: -Stratagems -Subfactions -Warlord Traits and Relics

    Taking just a cursory look at something like a "Shield Captain," I think if you took off the "Martial Ka’tah" and the "Master of Stances" upgrade, you could otherwise plug him into Indexhammer without any issue.

    I don't know the Custodes codex very well, but for units that came out after the Indicies, I would say that using their Power Levels and adjusting any army abilities that reference army rules that aren't in the Indicies should make them fairly easy to plug into Indexhammer? Adjusting as needed? Goal for me is to have fun pushing around models without having to deal with all the bookkeeping or bloat, totally down for find something that works for people 🙂

    Anyone down for an Indexhammer game on Saturday afternoon / evening? I've got 100 Power Level of sweet, single detachment Tyranids that are ready to rumble!

    Actually found a few other interested players! Trying to remember the last time I made a 40K list on actual pen and paper, lol. Thank the Emperor/Chaos/Hive Mind for Power Level 😅
