Ofcc is coming... And George had a great idea. We are a band of relatively distinct groups of players, and endless talent! At ofcc there have been so many gorgeous display tables where teams post their armies. This game allows us to go a step further, and actually PLAY on over the top tables! Our group (Seattle east side) are going to make something future oil derrick like, and WIP posts will begin once we hammer out a layout to start on. Who else is in on this? We can really punch everyone at ofcc in the eyes with this, and have them asking for more! Our tables will get people to come give the game a real look, and the models/fun we have will make them want to stay. Foam core, pink foam, and shoe boxes with paint and attention are all you need. This is not going to break any banks, as we have been making Terrain for years from the bin anyway, now we just make it cohesive and of an interesting tactical and strategic question! Olympia? Vancouver? Oregon? Seattle west side? Seattle east side? Most definitely!

Haqq are my first love, while USARF are super fun to play against too. I think they will be underestimated, and underutilized for a little while (sort of like tohaa when they came out), but will definitely grow in to their own representation.

In 2nd it was a hit. Thankfully in 3rd the rules changed for the better.

Oh I just use bases with numbers on them. One model and two more bases I write R, 1, or 2 on my hand or something to designate which was real

I always use it for the decoys. Much like in total recall, you can trick your opponent in to firing on the wrong one! I find it to be super tough for the opponent to handle that when my declare that move short skill that brings all three in to HFT range, and their ARO has a one in three chance of not hitting the right one. Or expose the decoys to some camo markers in HFT range with your second short move skill. They will be at risk of an intuitive attack next turn and might take the chance to fire on the decoys, then next order pop out and fuego away with the real one! Lu Duan is suuuuuuper great

May I also strongly suggest the Lu Duan Remote? That lovable bastard has done truly incredible things for me at least!

Carlos's vids are pretty much always entertaining and great. The guy really knows how to talk with we gamers hahaha Do be careful though, as he commonly mixes up playtest rules in these vids, so definitely check the book before taking it to the table. The book is pretty cool (and free) anyways.

Sounds excellent, Positioning really lets you start influencing your opponent on their active turn so it is super important! My favourite part about coming down is all the different play styles you see in action, and I have not quite seen a nomad play quite like yours yet. slippery and carefully committed, very pouncey rather than the more equipment push version I have encountered so far. Keep it up!

Someday, SOMEDAY! I will lay a scratch on Erik! Hahaha I call him out as much as he can suffer! All three were great games, finally got to play J. Allen (and got more exposure to those tricky ass aliens), erik manhandled me again! (love our games, i learn so much and am forced to play so different than i am used to!), and Garrett for the final round (very strong player, i just got super lucky). You guys host a great ITS, and it is you that make the game great!
