Its also an issue that now I'm out $500 in third party mats that have just been declared illegal. Nice big FU from FFG to me for supporting and growing their game for two years. Jim

The enforcement will come when someone attends an event (Store Champ, Imdaar, Regional or even an event giving away tournament kit prizes) not using all official FFG mats and complains. Then that store is no longer allowed to apply or be awarded official events. It's total crap and needs to be reversed. Jim

Well, considering that I am the TO of 99% of the events run at Dice Age, including the Regional,this is an issue for me.

I've canceled my Armada order and will not be purchasing any more FFG product until they reverse the cataclysmically stupid playmat ruling from the new tournament rules. Jim

Remember that Autothrusters only work on ships with the Boost action. So only A's, TIE Interceptors, Star Vipers and Aggressors can really use them since they are a Modification. They may not be auto-include, but they are VERY good on those ships. I definitely think they are auto-include on the Aggressor for sure. Love my IG-88 B&D build so far! Jim

I should have my Imperials fully painted by this weekend. Have 2 Royal Guard, 2 Nexu, 4 Trandoshans and Vader to finish. Then the Rebels and I'll be done til the expansions arrive! Jim

Got it for Christmas. Have played 6 or 8 games of Campaign and 1 of Skirmish. Really, really enjoy it! Wish I had time to play it more often. Currently painting the minis for it while waiting to get to play more often. Jim

We play Epic once a month or so over at Dice Age. I'm sure it will see more regular play once the Raider is out and the Imperials can field their own Huge ship. Jim

Small update! Anyone attending, make sure to bring a receipt for the toys for your entry fee. The $20 toy(s) is the entry fee AND gets you two raffle tickets. Every $10 of donation above the initial $20 gets another raffle ticket. Raffle prizes are a Tantive IV and an Alternate Art Darth Vader card from the World Championships.

Play surface is standard 3x3. Just to be clear, each round each team will be playing two separate games of 150 points per side, on two different tables. The games themselves are not "team games". The team format is to assure that there are no mirror-matches. I doubt that there will be a space issue, but I would like to know who is coming ahead of time when possible. There's an event page set up for it under the X-Wing Pilots of Portland FB page and you can also call Dice Age to sign up. The FB group is also helpful for people seeking a teammate. Jim
