  1. I'm looking for just Genestealers myself.
  2. Fluger I'd be glad to help. I may as well make another Ork building or two. Send me a PM if you can make it over to my house, I am pretty flexible on time if you don't mind a munchkin underfoot. I have spare supplies too, although pre-cut MDF(masonite) bases and extra ork bits would come in handy. I do have some masonite, but it's hard to cut without a vise, unless you use the brass balls method. I might need to restock my hot glue supply, it's not a necessity but can be helpful. The basic idea is hot glue for placement, and white glue or superglue for durability.
  3. Let's aim for low-fat cheese. Trimmed beards. Tough lists are fine, build to win. Rolling randomly is way too much of a hindrance in my opinion. Some of us just can't keep up with the worst of the worst combos, DLC formations and some of the forgeworld nastiness. Cheese? You'll know it when you see it. I'm honestly not going to be super strict about checking lists or anything. This is a fun event and we'll probably just give you a hard time instead of banning a unit.
  4. Sounds like Gerbilcon is confirmed. Post or PM me your best dates and I will find a time that works for everyone. Fluger, most of classic Orktown is MIA but I have a new shakk and enough scrap piles to make it work. You have dibs. Hanuar, I'd prefer to use my terrain but why don't you bring your best pieces, and if they're gorgeous, they can spice up a wasteland. We have five players, I think I can get the one local to come out, and maybe we'll pick up a couple more. Eight is enough. Can anyone bring a table? I can supply two tables, and I might buy a third.
  5. I'm assembling, repairing, and repainting my terrain collection, most of which has been at TSHFT for a long time. It would be a shame to let all my scenery go to waste. I thought a small event similar to The WarPorchTM would be in order. I will setup as many themed tables as needed for whoever wants to come. Each table will have a mission to go with it, similar to the ITC tournament missions, but with a balanced twist. Format: Warhammer 40,000 7th edition, ITC or close enough Size: 1500 points Restrictions: No Lords of War, superheavies, or gargantuan creatures. Take it easy on cheesy formations, psychics, and special ability combos. Where: My house in Maple Valley, WA Date/ time: TBD based on interest I was thinking we can do two rounds of 1v1, about 2 hours each. Afterwards would be open gaming and/or bullshooting. I have a ton of board games, karaoke, etc., or we could do more 40k. Or you could go home and see your neglected family. It's YOUR choice. I have a porch for smoking whatever you want short of crack. I'll be serving some grub, let me know if you're vegan or allergic or something. The battlefields: Dameon world Toxic waste yard Ork town Cityfight Hilly jungle Underground caves
  6. I kept all my old Epic: Marines, Chaos, IG, Eldar. I haven't played for about two decades, but I am game. I also have about 6 Warlord titans from Adeptus Titanicus too. That was my first GW game and one of the most balanced systems they ever put out.
  7. Great to see the cryptids. Shouldn't the gator be albino?
  8. For my fantasy minis I decided to do faux tiles. I paint the bases grey, put on some black lines that also go down the sides, then carefully paint light grey to border the black. It works pretty well, although I concede the physical cuts look better.
  9. Sometimes corkboard is worth looking into. 100-250 is a huge amount of models to fit on a board, let alone do cutouts for bases. Cutout displays are more popular and easier to move, but you can just do some flat terrain / cork "rock" sheets and it works out okay. Foamcore over wood, definitely.
  10. Sorry to jump the gun guys, I saw something online and was too tired to do any further research.
  11. Someone less lazy can link them.
  12. Some of those critters have multiple wounds, so it would be more than 87.
  13. Good question Pax. I'd like to see the records for biggest wargaming mini collection outside of Warhammer World. In order of impressiveness: Largest painted by owner Largest painted Largest assembled
  14. Counting per model, tabletop quality or better. That would be 3 colors applied sincerely. I don't know whether to count pre-painted, leaning towards yes.
