You can find a fallschirmjager formation in the North Afrika compilation. It contains the formation that was previously release in the Death From Above mid war airborne booklet for the germans.

Your description of how you used spearhead sounds correct to me. I play FoW but I think the spearhead rules is the same in both games. Cross country Dash at the price of not shooting that turn is excellent for moving across the table. 4th edition rules made it easier to quickly move around the table.

No worries just let me know as we go along. If anyone is wondering if we have an imbalance of players to Allies or Axis I will just create more spots on the side that someone is wanting to play. Additionally I will have a ringer to even out the # of players if we have an odd number of players sign up.

More players added to the roster. Glad to see we are picking up steam! In concerning Midwar Monsters I don't think any of the midwar monsters that are in the North Africa compilation are any more powerful than what is already available in various armies. For example Churchill, Standard Tiger I, Ferdinand / Elephant, KV and so on. There is already standard heavy armor out there and also powerful enough guns that can knock them out. If people have them and have not had the chance to use them much I wanted to make them available for this years tourney.

Update 2-21-22 We are starting with 6 tables and will increase as needed when people sign up. I don't have terrain for more than 2 tables so if people could help by bringing a table of terrain and being responsible to set it up that was key last year to a successful tourney. FYI: NHMGS staff have said that other than the yearly FoW tournament the state room is not used so this means that on days other than Sat the room can be used to host games if anyone is inclined to. I would love to see a Team Yankee tournament also organized on one of the other days. I have not expanded to Team Yankee so it will have to be organized by someone else.

What period do people want to play for this tournament? With the North Africa compilation being recently released I am thinking a return to midwar might be nice. Midwar monsters included? This would include east from Midwar as well as we don't want to leave out our soviet players among us. Let me know what people are thinking. Points I am thinking of a standard 100.

I have been going to NHMGS site to see if Enfilade was returning to its normal time slot of Memorial day weekend in May and nothing has been posted. Finally got in touch with someone in the organization and they said it was and that registration was open already so I went to the old tabletop events and replaced 2021 with 2022 and it popped up. https://tabletop.events/conventions/enfilade-2022 I don't really use facebook much so maybe that is why I'm out of the loop but in any case it looks like its definitely happening. I'm willing to organize again but I cant promise much prize support unless it comes from Battlefront again.

If you who are providing terrain and tables could get to the tournament early (say 30 min) so that you can bring your terrain in and get it set up before people start rolling in for player check in I think that would be best. If each of you could do a quick post confirming the above I would appreciate that.

Just to let everyone know, the hotel RL where the convention takes place will be requiring everyone to wear a mask except when you are eating or drinking. This comes from the WA state mandate. Please keep this in mind and be prepared when you attend the tournament.

I have heard back from the organizers of Enfilade that we now have 10 tables for the tourney. I have opened up spots and will be reaching out to people that had emailed wanting to sign up when we were full at 16 players. Now we need to make sure that we can fill the tables with terrain. I'll be tallying and confirming with those of you who have indicated that you can help with terrain so we don't leave tables empty.

Bpoli7, I have emailed the organizers if we can bring our own tables to increase the number of players. I have been contacted by several people who I have had to tell the roster was full. If they indicate that we can add two more tables to our current 8 then I will let you know and we can try and shoot for 10 tables. I'll let you know.
