  1. I think it sounds great. I've got lots of questions after my handful of test games with @Some_goob about how vehicles affect the balance of games, how weather rules factor into that, how the economy works out for AW campaigns, etc. As Meldon's Mire winds down, I'm gonna aim to have some 1400 cred gangs with vehicles and bikes worked up, and happy to loan out models for people to try games with, and look for feedback. Maybe a mini campaign with plans for a fully fleshed out campaign to go in the Spring. @sankaku_jime and I also chatted about the Stronghold campaign from book of the outcasts as something that could serve as a stand in in the meantime as well. I've also got a half-baked Zombie demolition derby scenario that I've got intentions for being a learn to use vehicles scenario. I'll try and finish it up and post it sometime soon.
  2. I’ll have my Escher and Goliath, both. So far, available for games of any kind.
  3. THE PLACE Location: 717 SE Main St. Portland OR 97214 (map) - Around the corner from Kokiyo Teriyaki and up the stairs. Cost to play games is $8 for Ordo Members, $3 for Ordo Warlord Champions, and FREE for Emperors & Imperators! As always, your first Game Night is FREE! THE GAMES Games we play: All, with a focus on Warhammer 40k, Necromunda, Star Wars Legion, Kill Team and more. While it is possible to find a pickup game at Game Night, it is much better to pre-arrange a game before coming down. New players are always welcome, feel free to stop by and check it out.
  4. Jeffrey Slept in, so here's the link. We're starting late
  5. I'll be there necromunding with @Krovak13 at around 6:00. Might be down for a bar brawl or shootout earlier if I can get away from work (highly likely).
  6. 2nd Wave Cycle matchups have been posted, and due dates have been adjusted. Also - my Goliath Gang will be stepping in as a sub for Scott, if he remains unavailable (life gets in the way sometimes, unfortunetly). Just ping me, if needed. As power starts to be interupted in the Mire, visibility starts to become an issue. Hope you brought your photo goggles... We'll be using the rules from page 193 for Pitch Black Underhive Battles for Cycle 4 and 5 games. Variable Darkness Rules
  7. I'll be opening up to host some Necromunda games. Come on down and check things out!

  9. planning to get my cycle 2 game in with @Painglove of Necromunda. Hoping to open early, but I should be able to get away from work by 5:00, for sure. Happy to stay open if anybody's trying to arrange games, etc.

  11. @Raindog it’s been a minute since you started this, but I’ve finally made some decently complete progress on some projects. some photos from the last few GNs. By myself, mainly - last table is courtesy of evil bryan and scotty shoemaker.
  12. I've got a call from 5-6 that I'll need to jump on - but I'll aim to be there early and see if we can get most of a demo game in before it. I'll post up if work goes sideways and I cant get away - it'll have to be after 6 if that happens - things are looking quiet for this week, though.
  13. I'll be around for Necromunda, but don't actually have a league game scheduled. I could do a pickup game, or demo game if anybody's looking.
  14. Not sure if anybody else is working on any background for their gang or gangers, etc. Feel free to toss any stories, anecdotes or after battle reports in here as the campaign progresses. And to kick us off - some observations from a spot where everybody knows your name:
  15. I've got a copy of the new Core Rulebook and will have it on hand, and can get you connected to a digital version, if you're not morally opposed to some lite piracy. I'll also have printouts of resources available at Game Nights. Doc rules should be available in Gangs of the Underhive, any of the House of.. Books, and the Core Rulebook. Again, I can get you a printout for reference. Enforcer rules are going to either be in the Book of Judgement or in White Dwarf 477 for Badzone Enforcers. The list available in the Dark Uprising rulebook is totally viable, but is potentially missing some options availble in other resources. Any of the published books can be used, but gangs can't acquire vehicles or equipment that grants the mounted condition (unless you make a really stellar argument when asking for arbitrator approval). Other options in, for instance, the recent Campaign books, are available, regardless of whether they're currently coded into yaktribe. No income or new purchases will happen, but gangers will continue to gain and be able to spend XP for advancements. The goal here is to get to use toys that are harder to acquire in traditional campaigns, and give everybody a leg up on learning the rules without lots of book keeping. There may be some exceptions as rewards for specialty scenarios, etc, at arbitrator discretion.
  16. Games, Cycles, Matchups and Expectations Players are expected to try and get fixed matches in at as prompt a rate as possible. Friendly/Pickup matches are allowed - I'm assuming folks will get 2-4 at most, for a total of 6-8 games to complete the Campaign. These can be players who are not participating in the campaign proper - contact @ninefinger for skirmish gang composition guidelines. Games may be played anywhere, but Jeffrey is happy to help facilitate having the Ordo Clubhouse anytime that suits, with enough notice. Please contact your opponents and try to sort out a time and place for your games. See the shared spreadsheet for Ordo and Discord contact info and preferred availability. If schedules can't coincide, or one player has to withdraw @scottshoemaker is available with a mercenary gang, or @ninefinger can approve an alternative matchup. Triumphs will only be awarded to Gangs that complete all of their scheduled matches on time. Scorn and pity will be heaped upon Gangs that don't respond to messages from their opponents. Campaign Event games may also be occur with or without warning, and offer special incentives or bonuses to gangs that are able to participate. The expectation is for everyone to get at least 2 games in every 3 weeks. Life obviously can get in the way of gaming, so delays can be excused - however rudeness cannot. Let your opponents know if you have unexpected conflicts and do your best to reschedule promptly, or alert an arbitrator if you must concede. Nothing sucks the fun out of game night more, than carving out time to play and then being ghosted. Please respect your opponents time and commitments as highly as your own. The Schedule: Opening Night Games - 10.12 - 6:30PM - Meat for the Grinder and Shootout Scenarios at W.O.W. Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 Matchups - Est. completed by 11.2.23 11.9.23 Cycle 3 - Self arranged 'Challenges' - not required Cycle 4 and Cycle 5 Matchups - Est. completed by 11.23.23 11.30.23 Cycle 6 - Self arranged Challenges - not required Campaign Finale Battle(s) - TBD if folks have interest. Cycle 1 The first name listed is considered the Challenger for scenario determination purposes. Cycle 2 The first name listed is considered the Challenger for scenario determination purposes. ** as a note - I'm also happy to let folks swap or trade matches around - just fill me in on what needs to happen. I'd like to encourage folks to get to play multiple different people and it seems like a top down approach at least pushes us in that direction*** Cycles 3 - Self Arranged Games Cycle 4 The first name listed is considered the Challenger for scenario determination purposes. Cycle 5 The first name listed is considered the Challenger for scenario determination purposes. Cycle 6 - Self Arranged Games or Vengence Rematches
  17. Probably just that it didnt get added to Yaktribe. You should be able to make them as a custom bounty hunter or house agent, i expect.... I can poke around, i'm sure there's a hack for it. You can also just go manual, and write up a card, without it being added in your yaktribe list.
  18. I'm hoping to be there at 5 - i've got a couple scenarios for quick games, and we'll sort out some scheduling and list verifications. I'd love to be able to get some games started by 6:00 - but we'll be flexible based on whatever knowledge i get about who's coming and when
  19. Aiming to be at GN by 5:00 at the latest - setting up for Necromunda League Kickoff. Hoping folks can wrap up bookkeeping by 6:00 and we'll have a handful of games in process in the evening.
  20. Haven't filled in the lore aspects yet, but here's my potential Escher gang: https://yaktribe.games/underhive/gang/medon's_mire_escher_2.445476/ 15 Models Queen that's pretty geared up for close combat, with a phyrr cat one Death Maiden champ, One heavy stubber champ, 1 chem Thrower Ganger specialsit, 1 Las gun Ganger, 1 Shotgun ganger, 3 pistol Juves (little sisters) 3 Wild Runners with Bows and Throwing knives 3 phelynx pets Couple of smoke grenades spread around. Had a test game last night - I didn't do a great job of supporting my close combat models - The Queen and Death Maiden absolutely tore through folks in close combat, but the problem with a successful fight action is that you're standing out in the open after it happens.... I could have tried to keep the juves closer to the pack and made it harder to target the high cost models. My ranged firepower is a little limited - seems pretty easy to drop them and leave me without many outsides of 12". I haven't added my 40xp of advancements yet - I'll likely add a skill or two, but go pretty heavy on Movement advances - 6,7 and 8" movements will be pretty ridiculous. photo of them below - in the middle of prepping for a slapchop paint job.
