I'm playing scotthartman in a 750 PT game around 4, before his 6:00 blood bowl game, but would be happy to aim for another if I have time. I have a hard finish time around 7:45
My assumption is you will still have to have a conversation with your opponents regarding what kind of game you'd like to play. If your buddy always brings a capped out PL list, he should probably be forced to play by points, or just go back to not having friends to play with.
Damn you GW, still expecting us to be adults!
Yup. Wow actually stands for western oregon war gamers. It's a club that's been around since the 70s (iirc)
they tend to to play a variety of board games, historical war games and things like battle tech.
Ordo members will occasionally set up small games on fridays and use one of the side rooms, but it's pretty rare and usually done by a keyholder (senator) that can open and close up.
I'm curious, as an ordo event planner, what kind of schedule would suit you better? How late into an evening do you want to spend at an event? We tend to run events the way we've always run them. Always grateful for feedback.
To be fair to savion47,
my big shoota did all the work at full range (36"), and managed not to run out of ammo until the 3rd turn of shooting when he just happened to down a GK. at least 15 shots, I think....
The rest of the boyz just ran forward and yelled "look over here"
I was at the art and craft store on Lombard (craftsman supply? Don't remember the name...) and there don't appear to be white microns. basic colors and black, only.
I'm planning to paint my bases a light grey or some such.
The Tuesday night crew will be playing games and hanging out.
Kill team?
Board games?
Learn to play Blood Bowl?
If any of the above sound good, post up and come on down!
I'll be opening up at 4 to let Raindog take the day off after yesterday's epic rampage.
I've got some hobby projects going on, and am expecting the 30k crew to be around.
Yeah. It's pretty sweet. Only IG, tyranids and space marines at the moment, but a very faithful representation of BFG.
The campaign gets a little long, without much direction, but I've enjoyed it anyways.
