  1. Hey folks, Had a little bit of chatter in person about this - We can use this thread for general list discussions, etc. Post it in full, or a link to yaktribe, etc. as you see fit. I'll go first in a double post below.
  2. Yep, as Scotty said, just add your info to the google sheet and we'll consider you 'signed up'. If you can have a gang list ready for approval by the 12th, that's ideal. Its looking like we'll have a pretty regular group of folks at the clubhouse on Thursday nights, 5-9 ish, but folks can schedule games for anywhere or anytime that's convenient. Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons are the typical times W.O.W is open (Ordo's clubhouse - we use both terms interchangeably just to confuse newbies).
  3. Awesome! Welcome @Krovak13! Not late to the party at all! We've announced 10.12 as the 'start date', but that will really just be a cuttoff for signups and announcing the first batch of prearranged matches. The goal will be that everyone gets 2 predetermined games in every 3 weeks. Folks are welcome to add additional pickup games. (Ideally everybody gets at least 6 games in, but you know what gamers are like). There should be a mechanic that lets people play games with one-off gangs, if we end up with people that can't commit to the full schedule. (But we haven't really fleshed that out yet - will do so as needed) No painting requirement, but Ordo typically does incentives for folks that are fully painted or making progress. If you end up short models, feel free to ping me - I can have some loaners or bounty hunters available for regular use at the clubhouse.

  5. Looking to be there around 6:00 to do some learning games of Necromunda with @Wienskeet and/or @sankaku_jime. Other interested parties are more than welcome to join as well - just lmk.

  7. The Sinking of Medon’s Mire The underhive is a fickle master (or mistress, for those of House Escher). Untold riches lay hidden for centuries and can be revealed by chance exploration or seasonal hive quakes. Just as easily, entire sectors can be locked away by malfunctioning circulatory or transit systems, The Mire was renowned as a rare bastion of stability, to the hive dwellers of Cassandra’s Reach. Firm Guild control had allowed everyone to prosper, as much as is possible in the underhive. The functioning mag-lev system allowed such regular shipments of goods that no one realized it had slowly become the only viable transport in or out. When the mighty play their games, the lowly suffer the consequences. According to imperial records, Medon’s Mire never existed. But tales still occasionally surface, in darkened corners of seedy drinking holes, and in whispered rumors of ruin, hiver’s will invoke its name. With the ominous sounding of a klaxon, the lower sluice gates closed, and the flow of uphive effluvia began to slowly fill the lower depths. Was it vengeance, wrought by some noble hand? Was it an ancient cooling system being brought back online by a Magos toiling away in the darkness? Was it a sacrifice to a dark god, the slow, gurgling of underhivers strangely pleasing to ineffable plans? For the gangs that were trapped in the Mire, the reasons didn’t matter. Being one of the handful that would find a way to escape was the only prize worth fighting for. A Campaign by @ninefinger & @scottshoemaker The escape begins October 12, 2023 ***To Sign up - Enter your info on the Google Sheet Linked Below*** Log your Gang and results here: The Sinking of Medon’s Mire Campaign Rules: Where do I find my Gang’s Rules? 8. Due to a reading comprehension fail, I set up a Necromunda table yesterday and left it setup for tomorrow. ( the 19th is a different date than the 26th, fyi…) so I’ll be planning to come down around 5:00 ish and happy to play learning/practice games, and whathaveyous. at the very least, I’ll hang out and chat for a while.
  9. Sounds great. I’m hoping to be there earlier to prep setup, but I do have to run home after work, so 6:30 should be reliable. im not sure whether there’ll be folks playing Blood bowl or anything else, but I can open up if needed - looks like there’s not a game night thread going at the moment.
  10. I thought I posted yesterday, but looks like I failed. I'm down to host learning games up until we kickoff - Tuesday is great, I could likely make Thursday work as well. I'll plan on Tuesday, unless i hear different.
  11. We’ll adapt in the changes from the new rulebook as much as possible, but since it’s not readily available for sale - the old (Necromunda rulebook hardback, Ash wastes, hive war or dark uprising softbacks) are basically the same. If I’m able I’ll pull together a cheat sheet of changes. I believe Scotty’s intention is 40 xp, distributed among your gangers as you see fit. There’s no cost associated, but the gang rating will increase by the appropriate amount (I can help check maths down the road). Very few scenarios (maybe nine) will be ‘crew - custom selection unlimited’. (Not looking at the rulebook, please correct me with what therm terminology actually is) Most scenarios will be a max crew of 10 models, so you could get away with having some gangers doubled up, and be pretty safe if not running into any issues. Or you and your opponent can agree to hand wave any that come up. (cawdor and hive scum can break that rule a little bit, but basically 10 models will be max in a given scenario) I also have a bunch of models for most any gang, as well as hired guns, etc - and am willing to loan them out at Ordo. no one should feel like they have to go get more models or paint up new ones. If the campaign spurs you to do that because you want to - hey, Ordo is all about us enabling each other. to that end - if anybody wants to play and doesn’t have a gang - shoot me a pm here or on discord - i can conceivably put together loaners, or even ‘mercenary gangs’ to be used for drop in play. (Non campaign players) sorry - just a hodgepodge of answers to stuff I saw on a lunch break - I’ll aim to sit down and do a more thorough Q+A over the weekend or an evening. Of course, my work turned upside down, crazy busy, the day after we announced this.
  12. Hey all. Collaborating with Scotty as I come out of hibernation. Can folks sound off on what's the best schedule, etc for gaming for them? (Ish, feel free to @ everyone on your interested list) Historically, we've had good success with a regular Meetup on Tuesdays or Thursdays at Wow, with People able to arrange other games elsewhere. Would folks be able to commit to a pre-scheduled league format, similar to what Blood Bowl does? pickup challenges week by week make it hard for everyone to stay on equal-ish footing. Tentatively thinking of starting in Oct - with learning games happening up until then. Asking for a 6/7 week commitment from folks. I'll double this post in the Discord to try and catch folks everywhere.
  13. I'm going to plan to pop in after work. I'll try and bring a selection of orks or GSC if somebody is free to coach me through listbuilding, etc, and give a refresher on kill team. Otherwise, i'm down to just hang out and catch up a bit.
  14. Planning to be there and throw down some necromunda in the ash wastes with @Some_goob.
  15. Was meaning to send you a message - I"m gearing up to be out of town on a work trip all of next week, so I've got home life things to try and tackle tonight. I should be back in town 1/26, though and looking forward to a rematch!
  16. @Some_goob and I are gonna throw down with some Necromunda Ash Wastes. Aiming to be there around 5ish, but we'll see what surprises my work day has for me.
  17. Yeah. I can make tonight work. I'll bring a pile of stuff and see what we can hack through!
  18. Not sure whether you've gotten linked in to the discord yet - just sent you a friend request so that I can send you an invite? (not 100% clear on how discord works sometimes) Anyways. We don't currently have much of a regular group, but I've got a handful of folks that are interested. I'm typically able to do Tuesdays or Thursdays at the clubhouse (typically one or the other,) I've done a couple demo games recently, and am hoping to schedule some learn to play events later this month at the club and/or some FLGSs. I haven't acutally played any ashwastes yet, but I've got a giant pile of vehicles and most anything needed, and would love to grind through a couple games with someone and try and get up to speed.
  19. sounds good. I’ll pull together a gang and make sure to bring it with me. also, I’m sure everyone is aware, but bundle up tonight, and there is a forecast for snowy/icy weather that could start at 8:00 pm or so.
  20. Just to give myself some extra pressure to not go home and hibernate - I'm gonna plan on coming down for sweet hang outs or whatever tomorrow night. I'll try and throw together some necromunda stuff or a painting project for myself, but may just chill and bask in some gaming glory.
  21. Heya! Sorry I just saw this. I'd love to get some necromunda in anytime. I've got plenty of gangers and gribblies. Happy to run a demo game or just throw down some skirmishes whenever. My work schedule has been hectic of late, but Tuesdays and Thursdays should be good in the upcoming weeks, just let me know what works for you.
  22. Link is here - Sorry that it wasn't up earlier.. https://us04web.zoom.us/j/79393127833?pwd=GY8EoAahOrExJTnYaaL1h0IsAaD7O4.1
  23. Just as a note - this Unofficial Crusade Campaign is an officially approved Ordo Fanaticus campaign. Work has been keeping me too busy to get full support and a banner up and running, but hopefully I’ll do that soon. We do have a discount code for anyone that is interested in grabbing a Champion membership for the remainder of the calendar year - use 2022Half in the store to save 50% on a club membership. GN dues will work as normal for respective championship levels.
