    Sounds like life and the universe in full force 😀 All the hard times lead to the good ones. Rebasing sounds like a good project, a little bit of zen with some old friends.

    Just a quick update: I’ve been able to add a few more players, and started in heavy on their rides. Im looking forward to having these mainiacs flipping around on some tables. Have a good day.

    With a long weekend to recharge “the batteries” I was able to dip a brush in some paint and return to the Harlies. I had two players leftover from an old evening (base colors ‘n washes done) and I was able to bring up their highlights. Quite by accident I think I found “it” for the armies scheme. On this evenings pair I went with a bolder, hard white, highlight instead of the more subtle color gradient. It’s a little jarring up close but as with a few of my other armies I think it will “pop” from table ranges. I’ll update the rest of the girls and boys and do some group shots at some point. Hope everyone is well.

    “When brute force isn’t enough, apply more force.” The pallets look great, I’m around them enough to be able to say you’ve done a good job. Just break half the slats on the bottom and you’re gold 😉

    I think I’ll try a dark angels green, washed then highlighted, for the canopy color on the transport. Stands out like a sore thumb. Should go well with the reds on the diamond pattern. ♦️

    Why don’t Tyranids eat clowns? They taste funny... ............ ....................... 😉 I’ve recently had a moment to work on some models and spent that time with the killer clowns from outer space. I was able to complete the next troupe, and a secondary Troupe master. I’m happy with the mish-mash of colors with the little bits that tie everyone together (yellow shoulders/hilts n blades n guns). Up next will be another boat for the troupes, a death jester, shadow seer,and the beginning of the sky weavers (bikes).

    I like it. Most of my army cases are from Home Depot, with white foam from fabric depot. I’ll need to add a spot for glasses here shortly as well 🙂 The size adjustment for the mini spots looks easy and effective.

    Pretty amazing 🙂 How long does it take the printer to produce all the peices for one full tile (everything). Also price point wise, what is your estimated investment per tile in material? I personally think what you have so far would be worth it no matter what, that table will be noice. Moar plx.

    Wait, what was that? Oh no. HONEY! CALL THE COPS, the Fenrisians are back... So it’s been a bit since I visited, life has been busy. Might as well dive back in though 🙂, and right where I left off. I spent a few minutes this evening watching John Carpenter’s The Thing (one of my old favorites, also snow themed) and painting more of the sky claws. Still working primary colors, but wanted to post to keep momentum. More to come.

    Depending on mission, friendly list type, enemy list type, and terrain, reserves are extremely useful. Capturing objectives establishing points superiority where you need to negating enemy list/deployment strengths through board positioning the list if fairly long. Turn 1 reserves arrival was a fairly new development in the game. We are seeing a shift away from the super alpha starts. I’m looking forward to it.

    Yes, but on a high note, there are nipples. They were scared of those for awhile. Because bare breasts are not ok. But a group that would wipe out your continent because your moms brothers uncles roommates dog may, or may not, have herd somebody talking about said breasts is totally ok. People are funny sometimes. 🙂

    Sorry to hear it. There mechanics cant be used to play to the mission? Some of my most satisfying wins were with “horrible” pure grey Knights back in the deamon hunters codex. Folks showed up to roll the list with ease, and left disappointed.

    It’s a good write up, thanks. Im curious to see how the meta shifts now that the cp farm-soup lists took it in the pants. Like the author I’m pretty happy with all of the changes.
